I remember a couple of years ago people would say Sylvia will end up going past Brock. Anyone who suggested this would usually get shot down, how things have changed. Is it to much to ask for them both to be playing well!?

Absolutely zero chance of us winning more than 4 games. The club Isn't that stupid! When Bailey Is asked about this he has his standard answer 'We go out to win every game we play'. Of course you will Dean but what he fails to say Is we will list manage the hell out of this team to secure the PP. As for the other sides It doesn't really bother me.

I would love to see him as a leader of this club, despite all the crap he has some great leadership qualities as was written about him when drafted. If he pulled his finger out from the start we wouldn't be wondering who would take over from JMac next year that's for sure.

I think I speak for all of us In saying It's been a long hard struggle following Colin Sylvia, many of us have written him off many times before only to jump back on his band wagon and then off again. We haven't had much to cheer about as Dees fans over the last couple of years but watching the re birth Of Col over the last 6 weeks has been my highlight. What I want to know Is at what point do we fully trust Col? Its seems a little crazy to suggest this but could he ever push his way into a leadership group? The way he's been speaking, acting and playing lately I'm starting to believe he could be a very important leader of this club. I'll stop short of suggesting he could ever captain the club.

Just wondering If anyone went along after the game today? I wouldnt have thought many would have.

I went along with a Pies fan and he said at least one positive for the day was Grimes. Also a few people around me noticed Grimes played well.

I just got back from the Junction oval, J Mac was out on the track and looked fine. Bennell was also training so Im not sure If there will be any late changes. Good to see a few people down there this morning having a look.

You dont have to be the best player to be captain at all. Have a look at Kirk from Sydney, he was held in very high regard but wasn't quick or flashy but he did the team things better than anyone.

Im loving that other clubs are giving It to us. I want to be hated, It means other clubs envy what we're achieving. Its better than people saying 'who cares about Melbourne they dont stand for anything'. A long time ago we were the most hated club going around and Im keen for those days to return!

You've done more for this club In the space of one year than 25 years worth of previous boards. What the hell have we been doing for all this time? Geez..

Playing games for preimiership points does seem a bit of a pipe dream but I cant see why we couldnt play the GoldCoast/ West Sydney at Casey.
