2025 All Australian
What makes this even more impressive is that there is normally only 1 spot for a ruck in the team as opposed to 10+ midfielders in the AA every year.

Mitch McGovern
I don't normally like to be overly harsh to Football players regardless of what team they play for......However.......Mitch Mcgovern is genuinely rubbish. He goes to water under any level of pressure and is hopeless 1 on 1. Carltons Key backs (Weitering aside) are horrid and he still isn't getting games. He is also 31 in a month or 2.. I dare say if his surname wasn't Mcgovern he would have been out of the AFL years ago.

GAMEDAY: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
May has been the difference. But not in a good way 😥

Mays not right. Clearly shouldn't be playing.

PREGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
Its like they are actually trying to sap the joy from supporter base. Give a kid or 2 a crack to show some sort of hope for the future! FFS!

Why is Chandler our long lockout target.....mind-blowing.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Adam Simpson is the worst option IMO. Eagles may have won the flag in 2018 but watching them under Simmo was the blandest and most sleep inducing football I can recall. His game style was also left in the dust a few years after the flag and the results post 2019 prove that.

GAMEDAY: Rd 21 vs West Coast
Happened nearly every week. Half backs rip us to shreds week in week out.

Farewell Judd McVee
All but 2 or 3 players have regressed this year.

To be fair though Greeny. He was damned if he did, damned if he didn't. But like others have highlighted. Its what he didn't say that is most interesting.- Brad Greens letter to members

Legit question, what do people expect or want Max to say.....? Surely the captain cannot throw goody under the bus whilst he is still coach.- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
This is just flatout incorrect.....yes, he isn't a forward [censored], but he is solid key back. He would be better now than in 2021 to if we hadn't wasted the last 2 years playing him out of position.- Time to go Goody?
It's up on the AFL site. Very short presser. Could be just me but he seemed different in this one. I reckon he knows he is done.- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
If goody is coach in 2026 we are gonna lose another 20k members. Headless chook- May to Tribunal
He is almost certainly getting suspended. I suggest we all just accept that now. That way if he gets off we can feel like we have had a win! 🤣- The List Manager Tim Lamb
I get what your saying DC, but Trac, Clarry and there contracts are not the reason we can attract talent. And trading out our guns (all be it they are underperforming) doesn't help us at all if we don't get any value back for them. Its not like we would get top 10 picks to replace them. Is a pick in the mid 20's (in a below average draft) going to replace even a diminished Clayton Oliver. Highly doubtful. People keep banging on about "clearing space in the cap" but to them I ask......for Who? Know one of high caliber wants to come to us. And to be fair I don't blame them. We are Cleary on the decline and the club is a mess (at least that's the outsiders perception). I would argue trading out our best players makes it even harder to attract talent. If we are going to trade in players to get us out of this whole its going to be fringe role players like Hibberd and Langdon types that would should be chasing. And players like that don't break the bank. I personally just feel the upside of Trac and Clarry getting back to even 80% of there best is worth way more to us then a few late picks.- POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
I agree Jaded, they will try though. As would any other club tbf. The only part they could challenge is the "carless" grading. I personally don't think he intended to knock Tommy out and just got it wrong in the moment. So Careless makes sense to me.- PREGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
Personally, Id take Macca in the team over May. IMO Macca has preformed better this year and deserves the spot. Surprisingly he is actually younger than May! Don't get me wrong, I want both in the team this week, I am just surprised how many on here have Macca as one of there chosen outs. Petty should be playing down back too IMO, so its very tight down back for talls. Lever looks banged up bigtime and neither Jake or the team are achieving anything by us playing him at the moment, I'd give him a decent break from all levels of footy. May to FF something I wouldn't mind us experimenting with. He's a great mark, aggressive and elite kick for a bigman. It could fail spectacularly but I for one would love to see some drastic experimentation in the finals 6 weeks. This season is dead after all. Something Like this: FB. Howes Petty Disco HB. Bowey Macca Mcvee- PREGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
I agree, he offers absolutely nothing. We need to expose some of the kids. He would be first out if I was selecting the squad. Chandler and Fritsch are close second/third.- POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide
They are clearly coached to do this. Goodwin 101. - Brad Greens letter to members
