  1. He is almost certainly getting suspended. I suggest we all just accept that now. That way if he gets off we can feel like we have had a win! 🤣
  2. I get what your saying DC, but Trac, Clarry and there contracts are not the reason we can attract talent. And trading out our guns (all be it they are underperforming) doesn't help us at all if we don't get any value back for them. Its not like we would get top 10 picks to replace them. Is a pick in the mid 20's (in a below average draft) going to replace even a diminished Clayton Oliver. Highly doubtful. People keep banging on about "clearing space in the cap" but to them I ask......for Who? Know one of high caliber wants to come to us. And to be fair I don't blame them. We are Cleary on the decline and the club is a mess (at least that's the outsiders perception). I would argue trading out our best players makes it even harder to attract talent. If we are going to trade in players to get us out of this whole its going to be fringe role players like Hibberd and Langdon types that would should be chasing. And players like that don't break the bank. I personally just feel the upside of Trac and Clarry getting back to even 80% of there best is worth way more to us then a few late picks.
  3. I agree Jaded, they will try though. As would any other club tbf. The only part they could challenge is the "carless" grading. I personally don't think he intended to knock Tommy out and just got it wrong in the moment. So Careless makes sense to me.
  4. Personally, Id take Macca in the team over May. IMO Macca has preformed better this year and deserves the spot. Surprisingly he is actually younger than May! Don't get me wrong, I want both in the team this week, I am just surprised how many on here have Macca as one of there chosen outs. Petty should be playing down back too IMO, so its very tight down back for talls. Lever looks banged up bigtime and neither Jake or the team are achieving anything by us playing him at the moment, I'd give him a decent break from all levels of footy. May to FF something I wouldn't mind us experimenting with. He's a great mark, aggressive and elite kick for a bigman. It could fail spectacularly but I for one would love to see some drastic experimentation in the finals 6 weeks. This season is dead after all. Something Like this: FB. Howes Petty Disco HB. Bowey Macca Mcvee
  5. I agree, he offers absolutely nothing. We need to expose some of the kids. He would be first out if I was selecting the squad. Chandler and Fritsch are close second/third.
  6. They are clearly coached to do this. Goodwin 101.
  7. I'm surprised how little criticism he gets on here. Week as [censored] and pathetic role model for the young blokes.
  8. He isnt a leaders [censored], Been flaming teammates all year, often the very young ones. Toxic bloke.
  9. I don't agree with you on much but this is one of those times! He and the rest of Saint Kilda are also correct in going in hard on the expansion teams/FA/Academies and all the other mechanics of the league that disadvantage smaller clubs. I glad they are doing it because it affects us just as much but we don't cop all the heat for bring it up! 🤣
  10. All that may be true, But he is still correct. We need to end the AS disaster ASAP.
  11. It really is.....The AJ hit is worse than the Mills one IMO. Mainly because NWM has possession, disposes of the ball, THEN is hit high. Its border line, but Mills jumps when the ball is still somewhat in dispute. Both are no good and deserve suspension, but I understand why AJ's is graded as worse. I guess it could be argued each way, but suggesting MFC is getting picked on, or treated harsher than other clubs is just more Demonland victimhood.
  12. It's infuriating isn't it. But also quite revealing. How can we expect them to address a problem if they don't acknowledge there is one.
  13. They all need a kick up the backside but boy does May need a bloody rev up. I'd be telling him Macca's coming for his spot if he doesn't get his head in the game. Tbf, Macca has been better than him all year.
  14. Lindsey was absolutely cooked by the last, Works bloody hard and uses it superbly. GUN! Windsor and Langford just as exciting!
  15. Offering players that Freo don't want or need isn't going to get it done. My guess is that if this happens it will be simple..... Koz for Dogga.
  16. I've been keen on him for a while now, so happy to hear we are into him. Super versatile and great boot. It would be like adding another Rives to the list, allowing us to push Riv/Windsor/Mcvee further up the ground or into the midfield. Problem is, he wouldn't been cheap.....
  17. 12 of them don't have a F*&%#ing Tackle at half time.
  18. The problem is, I don't recall a player ever doing this. Does anyone have any examples of it? I believe you cannot teach/train a player to really improve intensity, hardness and general competitiveness. You either have it or you don't. We should be looking to trade him for what ever we can get at the end of the season before he just becomes completely valueless. Trade him now for hopefully a late 2nd or keep him on this list for 3-4 more years and delist him. Easy decision IMO. Same for Fullarton.
  19. They have competed about the same so far.
  20. If he had the ability to do so, he would have "fixed this" by now. Or at least we would see positive signs. He is just not up to it, and should be shown the door. The bloke and his outdated snooze-fest tactics/Gameplan are killing our club, and he has undone our past 6-7 year revival IMO. I actually think it would be better for him personally too. It cant be good for anyone having this much pressure and stress hanging over you whilst you try to fumble your way to success in a role that you are not capable of.
  21. The only thing that will "shut people up" is winning. We lose this week, it all gets worse.
  22. Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback. Proof will be in the pudding it seems!
  23. Thanks for the report mate! This really worries me, it doesn't sound like much has changed in our gameplan. Which if true, will be extremely disappointing. Doesn't matter who we add or remove from the best 23 if the gameplan is still as ineffective, boring and predictable as it has been the past few years..... I guess the practice matches will be our real fist chance to see how we have evolved, but have any of the regular track watchers noticed a substantial shift in the way we attack/move with the ball?
  24. My original statement..... " I don't mean completely ignore them(interstate draftees), but we should be prioritizing Vic kids IMO" Your responses: You are both wither intentionally straw manning me or both need to invest in a dictionary and look up the word PRIORITISE. Either way, I stand by my views on how we should approach our list management moving forward.
  25. Limiting the chances of players wanting to go home is not "being Insular" is called being pragmatic and objective as to address an issue. With all the talk of Kozzi wanting to go home I would be shocked if these discussions are not happening internally with the list management team at the club.
