  1. Watched since late 80s. For me it's Gawn, Stynes, Oliver, Petracca, Lyon, in that order. Don't think it ends up that way.
  2. Exactly - defence isn't always pretty however it wins flags. So happy for them, especially Hibbo. Came out of the Essendon saga and at one point this year I thought he might miss out. Well done all
  3. Amen to this. Getting the basics right!!!!
  4. I'm going to have to watch all the aforementioned goals again to decide. I would also make special mention of the Jack Watts goal v Collingwood. Being behind the goals at the punt road end the roar was so significant, at the time I got the sens like we are building something here. We were for sure!!!!
  5. Just woke up, can confirm it wasn't a dream - we are premiers!!!
  6. Great work tonight and during the year Joeboy.
  7. Trac fritta Gus Oliver Jackson Salem
  8. I am in utter shock. 10 minutes in I thought we were home, then when 19 down I thought we were gone. All we are is the best team in the land by that much it ain't funny. Enjoy this Dees fans, the club and us all deserve it
  9. Aint being dropped - playing his role. I love how opposition coaches now need to stress about matching up against Brown, Fritsch, Jackson, TMAC as talls alone - I wouldnt want that headache
  10. Right on, maybe I'm deluded from years of watching this team however again I felt we should have won by another 3-4 goals. I think we have another level
  11. 2000 we had a brilliant team - gets lost because of how good Essendon was. I know footy was more open back then however we destroyed teams that year on the scoreboard. This is the most complete Dees team I've seen however it needs to make the GF first to be considered the best IMHO
  12. Last time we won a prelim we beat the team who was ageing and on the way down, North. So history can repeat for mine, let's play the cats
  13. All the players are saying it, it's about playing your role. TMac had a role and he played it. Great job Joeboy
  14. Did the job - turned the corner for the home straight. Here we go...
  15. im relaxed, maybe too relaxed
  16. Congrats Nibbler - here is to the next 100
  17. I only fear the bottom 4 sides
  18. Don't jump off, he will be back.
  19. A huge loss although softened so,ewhat as the replacement has been mentored by Burgo. Was always surprised Dees attracted Burgo in the first place
  20. The forward line set up worked well early in the year when the weather was warmer and we were flicking the ball around. In the heavier conditions of wimter a key forward is a must from a structural perspective. Doesn't make it essential in September however
  21. Anyone else notice a fair bit of bagging between our players when shots were sprayed. Player has a shot and others arms go up complaining you didn't kick to me
  22. Salem May Fritsch Trac Lever T Mac
