  1. Which is more important, the process or the outcome? Putting in place comprehensive processes is often designed to protect one's self, not to get the best outcome. Move now Demons.
  2. I am excited by the prospect of a 2000 like revival. Do not lose faith, we will be back (no one can tell me Collingwood or the Roos are better than us!).
  3. Brad Miller is the single most disappointing players at the club for mine. Still I absolutely expect him to be at the club next year as there is little else for a new coach to choose from as a KPP. Neitz, Robbo and Bizzell over 30, Ferguson, Warnock etc not good enough. ND did not ruin his career, but another coach (eg Sheedy) may revive it. Look at Dean Wallis – was he any more capable than Brad?
  4. After recent performances, we may need to hire Sheedy just to get people to renew their memberships!
  5. Don't disagree we need all of the above, but who plays CHB in your team? I don't see a CHB on our list.
  6. Yes, this could get ugly quickly again. Chad Cornes again
  7. The best position for Bater may be CHF, I just cannot see a team with Bate at CHF ever seriously challenging for a flag. Hope I am wrong and that is not a knock on him as he is one of my favourites. Longer term, I would prefer to see Bate move closer to the goal square.
  8. Following up on your report DemonDave, if anyone knows what the plan is with Dunn is that would be great to know. For mine his greatest asset at the moment is his goal sense, so what is the point of playing him where he can't use it?
  9. Newton, Sylvia, Jones all playing well, Frawley recovering well - keep going boys
  10. Archer made him earn it - well done Juice
  11. You can’t be a first class organisation when you do things in a second class way. Meticulous preparation
  12. Wow – look at those had no influence (they are our future stars are they not?) How we need a gun key defender, Hall, Pavlich and Brown have all had massive games against us this year. Though they try, Carroll, Frawley, Rivers (when fit) don’t have the necessary size to compete against the power forwards. Heopfully the draft brings us some relief in that area.
  13. Encouraged by feedback received on Newton, Pickett, Whelan and Garland. Look at the Hawks though - Buddy, Roughead and Thorp will soon be playing seniors. They are going to be hard to stop up forward for years to come.
  14. Don't forget about Ben Holland - has Rocca's measure. Well done ND - you deserve that big smile
  15. PJ is proving worthy of more responsibility, and considering the season is shot, I would love to see how he plays against the opposition’s best ruckman when they are fresh. Look at Taylor and Campbell at Hawthorn, the lessons they learned last year when Everitt was injured is proving invaluable this season.
  16. From my perspective, the single most important aspect of football is winning the hard ball. Nathan Jones is going to win us many a hard ball over the next decade. Well done Jonsey, you are proving worthy on the number 2 jumper.
  17. Carroll - excellent all day? He played very well, but was terrible in the first quarter. Think Robbo did well when the opportunity arose, so his review was harsh. As far as PJ goes, why did we take him off in the last quarter?
  18. Laidley dictated the game today, fair play to him. The Roos coaches muct have been laughing how long we kept Green on Grant.
