GAMEDAY: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Probably out to prove North were so wrong. That aside from last years poor showing that he really still is the best full forward in the comp like he was in 2019,2018and 2017. And now he is a team better than North will do even better. Go bbb.

Kysaiah vs Cyril ... Who is the Better?
Thanks for this. Too early to call. Ill just say its exciting to keep winning but also exciting to see just what Kozzie will do each week. Get the feeling hes going to rip a game totally apart.

They really need to move on.

GAMEDAY: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Do we have one of the best forward lines going around? Cats fwd line last night was awesome. We are just yet to see its full potential. If Tmac can play his best, hes as good as Hawkins maybe. Fritra is our Rohan and Bbb can be better than Cameron. If Tmac loses form he will be replaced by Sw. Tmac was not good last week but has shown this year he is still a great player especially as a foward. Add Luke J to the mix and its a deadly combo with our smalls in Spargo and Kozzie. So since the others have shown great effort it hangs on Bbb to strut his stuff. Thought he was quite good last week and aside from two goals was instrumental in two more. Geelong showed the power of three proven dangerous guns in their attack. I think we will tonight. So glad that Frittas playing. Dees by six with Swans missing lots of chances instead of us. Trac to tear it up with Kozzie and Harmes surprising many with a great performance.

Does this mean it will take a couple of weeks to announce tmrws team?

My Round 8 Preview and Prediction
I doubt the pies will go there. They never even play at fortress geelong.

My Round 8 Preview and Prediction
Hopefully Melksham will finally show what he can do. If ever this bloke wants to strut his stuff, this woukd be a good game to do it. I get the feeling Kozzie might be the one who kicks six.

My Round 8 Preview and Prediction
Its a big step down from an Anzac night game with big fanfare to playing in Tassie. Harder to motivate from premiers to spooners as well. Norf fired up for a scalp like us last week.

Do we lack midfield depth?
Previously known as LITD. replied to Previously known as LITD.'s post in a topic in Melbourne DemonsTx. I really want Harmes to get more games. Jordon has been wonderful so theres that. Jones is getting past it. Sparrow hasnt proved himself yet. Gus has been good in tge middle but up and down. We have 3 stars in Trac, Oliver and Jack but nobody can really replace one of them. Just want us to recruit another proven 24 year old midfielder for insurance

Luke Jackson - Rising Star nomination
Im loving how there is someone different each week stepping up to alter outcomes.
-
Luke Jackson - Rising Star nomination
Id argue that the comparison isnt that far removed. Jackson is very athletic. Yes Adam was a very strong player but Luke is only 19 and will build much more strength. The more confidence and bulk he gets the more the comparison will fit.
-
Luke Jackson - Rising Star nomination
Picks up the ball beautifully for someone his size and dances around opponents like a small as well. Doing a very good job at ruck and now roving his own work. Starting to hold marks and putting goals away. The icing on the cake is that old song....hes only 19.

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Really want to see Harmes playing. He has skills. Tmac, Salem, Lever, Hunt have all stepped up to their best form. Harmes the chance to do likewise.

Our Robbo's Blunt Warning to Current Crop
Probably a timely article given we are seven zero. Dont want to get cocky. But for Dees fans that have been around its hard not to get too excited.

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Sydney
I would like to see Harmes and Sw in. Maybe Sparrow. Given Fritta out, I guess Melk stays in. Baker out. Tmac in defence otherwise Petty who wasnt great last time but serviceable. Maybe Melksham will surprise us all in Fritras role.

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Great post. Except keep Sw out of the ruck cos Lj is doing a bang up job in that area. Tmac back yes. We have the 3 best defenders in the comp then. (Tmac was an excellent defender) Sw st chf. All is fine again. All fwd problems solved.

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Wont be dropped. For the same reason he came in before Sam. He was the Afls leading goal kicker THREE years in a row up till the the year b4 last. Let it sink in. Mfc has the PROVEN best Ff in the comp in Bbb. He will do even better outside of his old flailing club. He is here to stay at ff for a long time and play a huge part of our success. Aside from Frittas uncanny excell.j ent form I would still wager Bbb will outscore him. Just.? Ps didnt play too badly yesterday anyway with two goals one. Allowed Fritta to run into space and kick six.

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Anb wont be on notice. His worse game for sure but Has been very good all year I reckon.

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Perhaps you jumped the gun a little. I think our team is awesome. Its not about how we played or Nm played. I do believe that Viney out is a big factor. I do believe Jordan is a great player. I just want to make sure that we continue to grow. The club has been fantastic stocking itself with forwards and defenders and its why we are so successful. I just want the midfield to be extra special as well. Im not saying its not. Nobody can fault our two champions in Trac and Oliver.Im wrapped with Kozzies efforts. Im just not sure that Gus and Harmes are great midfielders. I really hope Im wrong. Maybe Sparrow will step up. A small defender and a proven midfielder should be on our agenda given that Jack may always have a foot issue. Premier teams have lots of players knocking on the door for selection. If there is one area we can improve on with recruiting then its in the middle. Just saying.

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
I thought it would be Bbb. Of all our forward firepower I didnt expect Fritta to be the most likely to win the Coleman. He played with a dodgy hand and a knock to the head and booted SIX. Cant remember but someone here called that he would boot a bag in this game. Hard to nullify. Teams cant work out if hes a tall or a small. His awareness of the posts location is Batmanesque.. A few weeks ago there were posters demmanding he be dropped. Wow. He won this game for us. Sadly though, I think he will get a week.

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
Ive never thought about him one way or another. He did seem very much in favor of North winning but then again so did his workmates. Maybe its just natural for commentators to want one side to win. Perhaps an upset win would make the day more interesting for them even if they try not to be bias. Maybe they sided with the underdog. Maybe Im just bias but it really did seem they were supporting Nm even if unintentional.
