Yes I had a dream last night Chunk kicked the winning flag goal against the cats.

Ha. Id prefer to bring bbb in for Sparrow as my only change. We played well I thought against a good side. This years comp has shown that outside of the 8 there are some very good teams that can give anyone a run for their money.

Anb didnt seem to do a great deal but he was our highest tackler on five. A few players are down on form in Kozzie and Nibbler and maybe fritta. On the plus side I thought Hunt returned to good form. If chunk comes in I guess im not sure who would come out. Sparrow hasnt been great but scored a ripper goal. Tough call but to hear Chunk is in form is good news. Now if we can just fix our fwd line?

True and on that subject a shout out to Trac who has turned around his set shots very well.

There have been exceptions when Fritta kicked six and Tmac has played well but we so need a third scorer et al. In 2018 we had hogan...tmac..garlett...hannan and a few more that really hit the scoreboard and we kicked higher scores. But yes our defence is so much different to then. Thank goodness.

Was a good game but like so many others. Surge footy. Slow start. Missed goals. Not a high score. Great defence. Great team effort. Could have been a six goaler against an up and coming and in form team playing for a spot in the eight trying to knock off number one. Great fightback after last weeks sleepy showing. Dees of old would have lost that off the back of pies loss. If we can tweak our forward line it will be very exciting and further our run for a flag. After five in the magoos please put bbb in at ff and give hime five games as well and see what happens. He will free up Tmac at least and get the ball to ground. Fritta can have the pockets and jacko can go where he pleases. A least we can have an excuse for just bombing it in?

Perhaps but what about the argument he couldnt make it worse? Apparently did well in the twos. I think teams have realised without some talls they just crowd our fwd line and stop us marking.

Gets a pass for mine only because when on what he can contribute goalwise which we so very need.

Votes I found hard only because there were many contenders. Except for our forwards it was a great team effort all round.

Went close yesterday if we are honest. Our backline was brilliant though. But is it correct that bbb isnt performing....what about mitch brown?

If this is correct then I withdraw my assumption the club is at odds with him. Apologies. Its a worry if hes not performing there and I hope for our sake he can turn things around. I think he was dropped unfairly but it he was still lucky to get in before sw. It happens. Come on bbb get your mojo back. Still leaves the issue of we need another big body up fwd. Apart from Mitch what else can we do?

This. Love luke jackson although he dropped off in the game. He will be a very good player and is a true package. But yes he and Gawny who was excellent were often playing way up the ground only metres apart a good deal of the game. We desperately needed a tall up fwd at times as Fritta who is great in space is not tall or strong enough to take a contested pack mark.Or bring the ball to ground. Also oir fwd pressure was poor. Maybe not poor but dons were too tall and simply waltzed out of our fifty way too easily. For the inside 50s we hardly scored. Not only can Tmac not do it by himself he has also dropped in form over the last few games so another strong fwd is essential. Ok Mfc even if you wont back bbb there must be someone to play. Roll the dice and sort it out so we can win a flag but yesterdays experiment wont cut it. It was a good win against a quality side but it was off the back of our backs.( and mids).
