  1. Starc ended up bowling a fair amount of old slop.
  2. Top delivery from Starc.
  3. This game is now a real danger one. Afghanistan have some quality spinners. We look very flat.
  4. I didn't know it was an issue of one's religious affiliation.
  5. Both those Pies results don't reflect the real game.
  6. Too bad if you forget the box. It's a tough rule.
  7. Tx Wcw. I agree Test matches are where it's at but T 20 is not too bad for simple entertainment. And the Indian Premier League has done a lot for making cricket popular again.
  8. The odds shortened a bit today but at the time of posting backing the field each for a place would have given a modest return due to third place Sheraz. Two days ago it was @ $ 27 for a place. Throw in the other winners and it wasn't too shabby.
  9. It's a strange rule. I wonder if it applies to all formats. I mean limited over games are a tad different to a game played over 5 days. In The NZ / Pakistan game with the rain coming into the result it makes some sense but seems pretty stiff in a test match. And bowlers often slow games down with over rates. It reflects poorly on the team appealing for it for me.
  10. * Couldn't be stuffed.
  11. For a game that's supposedly played between gentlemen, there are a surprising number of unsavory incidents.
  12. Sometimes not dropping a game builds ironic pressure.
  13. Still probably better than the slop they serve up from the good people at Netflix. New releases read like a list of Hollywood classics from the forties. It's now become a collection of b grade movies from Mongolia and 500$ "doco series" about mass murderers. The only people who this defunct streaming service appeals to these days are executive Producers.
  14. My tip is the French horse Absurde.
  15. Whatever it is , it's worse than getting out than handled ball or hit wicket. How do you explain it to your teammates. Oh wait you probably did while you were playing poker with them at the time. I'm looking forward to the finals but I really think India already have it won. They have an exceptional bowling line up.
  16. You will have three wins if you back each one for a place.( First is also considered a place, I think). Hopefully altogether they pay more than 24 dollars.
  17. Looked at the field and all the odds. Shortest is $4.40 and the longest at around one fiffty$. With a field of only 24, has any one worked out the permutations of backing every horse? There's usually a long shot that gets a place. Calling all DL math wizards.
  18. It's the biggest load of bs, trivia and wasted time. Best thread ever. Tx Mr Legs.
  19. Despite being knocked in straight sets two years in a row the club is performing very well. We really were very unlucky to have lost both finals. The fact is we are a real powerhouse three years in a row and the other clubs and their media lackies are well and truly afraid of us. Were it not so we wouldn't be singled out so much. Looking forward to another very competitive season in 24.
  20. Like the systemic fraud and graft with Fifa.
  21. I think it was too much but all CEOs pay themselves a royal ransom these days.
  22. I do appreciate your footy Iq.
  23. Tx Mods and all who keep this site up and running. Cheers.
  24. The fact is we fared much better at the Mcg than our interstate games. Also it disrupts routines and fatigues a little more. But yea Wc and Norf were easy ones but we still have to play them.
