Thanks Pf. We did get to play a couple of easybeats a few times this year. The main issue, I thought for us was travel. In particular Kardinia and Tasmania. Add our self imposed Nt game which is a long hike and that's three more trips the pies didn't make. Playing Devil's advocate, you could make the case we travel less interstate clubs though. With that in mind , I don't think ours was woeful but we were certainly at a distinct disadvantage compared to clubs like league pet the pies , blues, Geelong and Dons. No surprises there I guess.

I hope he can return from injury asap. His 23 form turnaround was remarkable and I think we would have gone close to winning a flag had he not been injured in the game before our prelim.

Going out on a limb here but I think we will probably play at Kardinia or whatever it's called.

It's a bit of a cliche for our club. We were very unlucky with everyone of our fwds having injuries. A lot of them affecting their seasons. Milk was desperate replacement who surprisingly showed great form. Losing him was a big deal.

Not a few just wishing for just one finals win. I get the lower expectations but the reality is we only just loss both finals this year. Plus not losing Gus and Milk we probably would have beaten pies. Nothing but a flag next year will suffice for me.

Gee your family were doing well in the 70s with a trip to Hawaii. I thought Lakes Entrance was pretty Cosmopolitan back then and as far as we ever ventured barring our all out campervan holiday in Merrimbula.
