If your report on Garland is correct then I find that to very dissapointing. Same with pederson. If these guys were really hungry to play in the top 22 then why were thsy not standing out. We are in need of snother fuorward who can ruck. In the meantime I would put dunn at chf before ever putting pederson or dawes there. Dunn can out mark and out kick them both.

No room for Pederson IMO. Harmes had five tackles and wouldn't be first out for me. Kent did kick four. For my money two changes is enough for a team that could have just as easily taken the points. Garlett in for Wagner. Someone in for Frost.

One of the postives of this week is that we dropped two senior players for poor form. I'm glad that Roos has laid down the law that non performance wont be tolerated. Peterson doesnt belong in the forward line and neither does big bucks dawes. Young Oliver is showing them how its done. A very large ammount. Great effort from dees today but shocking effort from umps. I love the way they set a game up by giving twice as many fees in the first three qrts and then even it up at the end when the damage is done. Umps easily fooled with ducking the head these days. These umps get paid well and need to either learn the rules or stop cheeting.

We have improved. I am sure we will win eight to ten games this year. Hopefully 12 the following and possibly finals. As for Roos he has not been that great. His selection of Brayshaw and omission of Nunn or another tall last week was bizarre for such an experenced coach. I understand your frustration. If for some reason we do go backwards and dont play finals within the next three, I think there will be some serious backlash with people just not renewing mships or going to games anymore. One way or another something will give. If or path stays the same, we will become devoid of any new supporters with old ones dropping off or dying and probably go bankrupt and merge. Perhaps move interstate.

Im not sure if this is an even comaprison given that in 1976 we finished sixth out of twelve which today translates to eighth and a finals birth. Some very interesting points about the media. I think this would have stunted our supporter base.
