Changes v Gold Coast Suns
He copped a knock on his hip (knee in a marking contest) against Geelong. The commentators mentioned it at the time and said if he could keep moving it should be fine, but he'd feel it during the week. You could see it being worked on during the game and he was clearly inconvenienced by it and then he copped another knock to the knee. I don't think it's a given he needs a rest as it might come good during the week.

Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Was dropped by Eade and Dew, heβs a quintessential NQR.

THE ROAR MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS
Must have been the very early years because once they got going Sparta regularly spanked the Athenians unless the match was played at sea. The Spartans never could play in the wet!

Andrew Gaff
I think West Coke will also try and get Mitch from the Crows who wants out and possibly Kelly from the Cats. They need Gaff to go for salary cap relief and also compensation that they can use to shore up potential trade/s.

Andrew Gaff
He'd be irresponsible to stay... ergo he will leave. Not sure if it was Healy or not, but Gerard usually gets pretty good mail. He's pretty close to a number of players.

Andrew Gaff
From one of the commentators over the weekend (sorry can't remember which one, but it may have been Gerard Healy) was that with the money the Eagles had offered Gaff he'd be financially irresponsible to stay. I think they're probably pretty keen to get the other McGovern who apparently definitely wants out of the Crows - so that limits what they can pay Gaff whose compensation they would need to help get McGovern.

Changes vs Western Bulldogs
With Casey playing in 'heavy' conditions as well, it will be a case of wait and see during the week to see who pulls up OK in terms of recovery. The only real fresh player is Bernie who didn't play this week. He has to come in for Lewis who should get a week off to help him recover. If Smith doesn't get up then someone else will need to come in as I am firmly in the camp of not playing Vince and Lewis together in the back line. Probably Hannan. I was chuffed for Frosty and his first game back last night, and I think as soon as Kent and AVB get some miles back in their legs ANB will come under serious scrutiny to hold his spot.

Casey Demons v North Melbourne VFL - Round 14
AVB 16 tackles. Now there's a man making up for lost time. Expect him back in the seniors if he can string together a few more games like that.

Dom Tyson
He must hate his team mates judging by how regularly he bandpasses to them as they are about to be mown down!

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Property Crimes in Policing parlance is the crime linked to drug activities such as break and enters, stolen property etc. Any dodgy land dealings would normally be handled by the Fraud Squad.

List Analysis Potential v Reality
I remember 1991 well as I was in Melbourne studying. Cuthbertson was on fire for a brief period kicked 7 against North in rd 4 (which I was there to see) and followed it up with 7 against the Pies the following week. Leigh Matthews mentioned he was the difference between the two sides. Rd 6 he kicked 5 against the Bears, but unfortunately for Darren and the club his star dimmed. Only ended up playing 32 games in 3 seasons. He'd had a pretty hard road to get to the club and unfortunately I think some off field issues got the better of him.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I keep waiting for confirmation of what's happening with Leaver, but with the Free Agency period not closing until Sunday, maybe we have to wait to next week when it's confirmed Brisvegas actually have pick 19 to trade.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I reckon I have more chance of winning Tattslotto than the the odds of Adelaide making a 'statement' by forcing Jake Leaver into the draft.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Its all just empty posturing. I doubt its for oppo clubs, more for the nuphy supporters. The same ones that demand line in the sand coaches statements and plan Bs.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Won't get to the point of Leaver going to the draft. Both clubs are actually pretty close now in terms of what they want and what's being offered. The passage of time will bring them closer tohether The irony of the situation is the comparison with Scotty Thompson. We drated him with pock 16 and thtee years later when he was homesick we got pick 12, which many of us thought eas unders considering where his talent was taking him. Adelaide used pick 14 for lLeaver, but three years later no way is pick 10 on its own enough.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
No change. He's already made his decision and its unlikely to change based on the weighting of winning or losing a premiership. He's made a professional decision, based on a number of factors one of which will be increased remuneration over what he's paid at Adelaide. You aren't a footballer forever and he will make hay whilst the sun is shining.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
May not have come from us though.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Garland provides depth while Joel Smith, who is a good size and can jump, develops.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
It would be indeed, but if I'm the Crows recruiting manager I'd ask us to go back and have another go. I think another first round pick is more valuable than ANB, and trading the likes of a Frost/Tyson/Watts would potentially get you that.

Clarence Oliver
I thought it was his left hand he lacerated and they removed some of his hamstring tendon to repair the damage... but it was a while ago now and my memory has never been that reliable.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Ahhh - I see you've fallen for the player that is a spud against every other team, but played alright against Melbourne once in their career. See Tim O'Brien.

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
Couldn't believe it when he missed that shot, surprising as he is a really good kick. He did have a very bad corkie so I think that kick was a bit of an anomaly.
