Hardly.
All that does is degrade their first pick in the draft by 7 and offers them picks so low in the draft they will likely not be used. I don't want them to get pick 34 from us, would rather they take a contracted player.
Nah sorry mate, didn't record that game.
Basically Jurrah's domination lead me to start recording off the ol' tv! Next year I'll be much more handy, tape each game and chuck up and decent highlights.
You're caring a lot about how the outside will view it it seems.
I'm sure at the end of next season the club will be able to put value to Bailey's worth and go from there. Why would we need to sack him at mid season? Media pressure, I couldn't give a rats.
I'm still for giving him a year extension now.
The problem I've just encountered with this thinking is that it seems to rely too much on the club being pressured from the outside.
No one says we have to re-sign him midseason, nor is there anything that states we can't just give him one year at the end of next season.
You can also do worse than muting the tv.
Took them until 4 balls to go to realise a tie would be enough, then spent 5 minutes going on about how Lee and Hauritz mustn't have known that we'd already qualified because they scampered for a run - a. why wouldn't you scamper to try and get the win, b. a win would leave us top with a game against the recent bunnies.
Tense is right though
Never seemed the same player after Wheels destroyed him (and himself) in round 1, 2007.
I can't imagine the laughter that would come from the other side of the table if the Saints were to ask for a first round pick for him.
