Fair enough, each to their own. I just don't like playing Keane and Defoe as our forwards with no tall target - it may work against Burnley but I don't think it works against the top ranked teams.

Pretty sure it's two years mate. Valenti and Spencer need to be promoted or let go by my understanding. We received special circumstances for Hughes to be kept on the list for two years as a mature age rookie under the proviso that he didn't play a match in his first year (otherwise he'd need to be promoted). We can keep Hughes on for next year and I'm very confident he'll get a game.

Do I really need to say any more? You claim only one player has stood up, I give you 9 who have improved, 5 that has developed very well early under him (how can you claim he can't develop players yet admit that the young players are going well under him). How in the world do you figure that Jones has gone backwards?

Don't really think you can judge one way or another off one game (would you really say Wigan is better than Chelsea?) But 3 goals came with Crouch on and his other goal came from a penalty that he didn't earn. TBH you haven't made an argument

Sylvia, Garland, Davey, Bate, Frawley, Jamar, Warnock, Moloney have all improved since DB has arrived. Young guys like Grimes, Jurrah, Aussie, Martin, Morton have all blossomed under DB's leadership. Jones has reestablished where he needs his footy to be and Petterd is starting to find a role in the team. I've probably forgotten others, but probably given enough names to show that he has in fact helped many players at the club to grow. Whether he's the man to take us to the premiership is another story, but I personally believe he's the man to bring us to the tip of where we need to be
