  1. Tassie lost 3-4 at the end. Should be a good chase.
  2. Bruce could probably go in both categories.
  3. 207?!? How can we know without Redleg?
  4. I've found my post from pre season this year - and I've edited it to reflect this years draw. This is the past 8 years. I've included this year's home/away games as one game - for obvious reasons. It gets a little confusing with teams playing where - but I've included games where teams have played "basically" home games (Brisbane at the Gold Coast, Sydney at Blacktown, Hawthorn at York Park - because of their desire to play many more games there - as home games or away games played at home.) Adelaide - 5 home games, 2 away games and 1 away game played at home 6-2 Brisbane - 2 home games, 1 home game played away, 4 away games and 1 away game played at home 3-5 Carlton - 5 home games, 3 away games 5-3 Collingwood - 3 home games, 1 home game played away, 3 away games and 1 away game played at home 4-4 Essendon - 1 home game, 2 home games played away, 2 away games and 3 away games played at home 4-4 Fremantle - 6 homes games, 1 away game and 1 away game played at home 7-1 Geelong - 5 home games, 2 away games and 1 away game played at home 6-2 Hawthorn - 6 home games, 1 away game and 1 away game played at home 7-1 Melbourne - 1 home game and 7 away games 1-7 North Melbourne - 4 home games played away, 2 away games and 2 away games played at home 2-6 Port Adelaide - 3 home games, 1 home game played away, 1 away game and 3 away games played at home 6-2 Richmond - 1 home game, 3 away games and 4 away games played at home 5-3 St Kilda - 3 home games, 1 home game played away, 2 away games and 2 away games played at home 5-3 Sydney - 3 home game, 2 away, 3 away game played at home 6-2 West Coast - 5 home games and 3 away games played at home 8-0 Western Bulldogs - 4 home games, 1 away game and 3 home games played away 4-4 Now the stats can be seen a few ways - Dogs' games in Darwin could possibly be called home games along with early St Kilda games in Tassie as well as North/Melbourne games in Canberra but I felt there was not enough footy played generally at these grounds and they were so far from their home that it should be classified as away. Some analysis: Western Australian teams have played 1 away game between them. North have not had a home game in Melbourne but have played 2 all up. It's a pretty rough guide - don't take it 100% as gospel, but it certainly shows that we have been absolutely shafted. Melbourne has had the fewest matches in their home city of any team.
  5. Until the middle of this year, Lynden Dunn...

  7. Yeah fair enough. Does anyone have footage of him taking out Hird in the granny? Him and Ward were the only ones to fly the flag that day... from memory...of the cancelled game...
  8. Start a poll. Then you'll see if it's just you that feels that way.
  9. Yeah sorry. 4 would make no sense.
  10. It's not... the case. Some rounds will have one team having a bye, some will have 4 teams having a bye. Not ideal IMO. Look forward to it being even numbers again.

Yeah not sure if there's another person, there may be. Ha. I used to love Michael Vick so much I almost went for Atlanta just because of him. Absolute headcase but boy can he play. To be honest, I haven't paid too much attention so far thie season. Been much more interested in the baseball. It's hard to watch the games with school on the Mon/Tues but managed to catch last week's win over Vick's old mob. We're looking pretty good, pretty good situation to be in to have Kolb as reserve. Big game Sunday. Tennessee are 3-0 on the road and we're 1-2 at home. Would be a big win to go into the break with. Edit: Just realised it's an away game.
  12. Each to their own. This year's Elimination Final against Freo gave a much more pertinent reminder of what will happen if he's played out of the forwardline IMO. Odd comment.

    Yep...Me for one.
  14. Melbourne playing on a Sunday...no, must be wrong. (We seem to draw Hawthorn often in Round 1 - NAB cup round 1 especially. That's at least 4 times that I can remember straight off the top of my head in the last 7 years)
  15. Not that I know much about the situation, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least to learn that the AFL have support systems in place for people such as Carl and that these avenues may have already been presented to him.
  16. If that chase didn't start on our half-forward line, I'm Abe Lincoln.
  17. Probably played about 30 games out of a back-pocket. Save for about 2-3 of those games, I found it the easiest position on the ground to play. CHF was the most fun though.
