Hrm...It seems like you've taken to making many of your posts reflect who you are as a poster, the way you post in regards to others or the way in which you post regardless of the subject matter - hence why you have now posted the second half of this post in the wrong thread.

Something (your posting) tells me that you're trying too hard to do just this.

We sit right at the players' race. Direct access back and forth from the Bullring. Same crowd sit around there every week, regardless of a lack of reserved seats etc. We all know each other, say G'day, share a hug if we win, cheer the boys on, cheer the boys off and down a pint afterwards at the photo of Robbie Flower's first finals match. That's my MCC experience.

I think Richmond have targetted Miller as a fantastic leader who will train his heart out to get the most out of his ability. If others on their list can mimic these attributes, the Richmond FD will be quite happy IMO. We mustn't forget that, despite his limitations as a player, he was voted into our leadership group as recently as this season.

Last year I made this thread to see how we'd go in 2010. After Bub's suggestion I thought I'd put a new one up. The season is split in two halves because you can only put 20 options in.

Care to do some research before having a teary? Collingwood played two home games at Etihad this year. One of them was against, guess who, the Eagles. It's an odd statement. The level of difficulty of a draw, from an AFL's perspective, can only be measured against a club's ladder position of the year. I guarantee that if we played the top 6 this year twice you'd think differently.

6, exactly. The bare minimum. I disagree with the lack of acknowledgment. 2 extra Friday night games, a Thursday night match, 14 of 22 (possibly 15 of 22) games on FTA is a fair step-up IMO. I think the best thing that could happen to the footy club this year it to make finals. This draw gives us that chance. I would much rather have an easier draw that will hopefully give us a better shot at playing finals, rather than a blockbuster-filled draw that boosts attendances and sees us with a much tougher run. In the end, finals are what matters. Our fixture wasn't great this year, but I thought our crowds were and when it's all said an done, if we're winning the crowds will be up anyway - and if they're not, well, then we don't deserve the blockbusters.

How people are whinging about this draw is beyond me. Tell me how many games we play against this years top 6.

Then I stuffed the seat in front of me... Was a horrid minute of footy. I still look back at that game with a weird sense of not being (all things considered) too annoyed that we lost.

I think the last line of my post sums up why I think we should be more entitled to play in Melbourne.
