6 blokes in tonight’s team that shouldn’t be on an AFL list ??

It’s the depth of the list. To many vfl quality players that are unproven at AFL level over several seasons, there is about 6-7 in this weeks team and was the major problem last yr with our long injury list.

But do they run around the ball, run around the contest and dodge tackles?

Caro has had an agenda against Bartlett since he came out publicly and criticised her, she will trash him at any chance. Bartlett has been better than any recent President and needs to stay on to help drive standards.

Harmes, Brayshaw and Jones have had minimal impact the last 2 weeks, Harmes really hasn’t provided us with anything all yr. Brayshaw has had a few good games but overall has been underwhelming, Jones has shown glimpses. The most startling thing is though there is not much quality to replace them with...

What does the coaching group / selection committee consistently see in him to regularly pick him??? I’d love to know. never ever resembled an AFL player.

It’s so hard to watch and happens so often.... and hasn’t changed for a few years now. It probably won’t until we address that midfield balance as it’s ingrained in our current crop of mids, especially under pressure.

Same old same old when it comes to a loss unfortunately: G.Lyon - excruciatingly barracking I mean commenting, rate him highly, very highly actually but feel his frustration while commentating MFC games, makes it harder to watch. overuse of handball around centre clearance work. Costly turnovers. lack of forward pressure. lack of team defense/ work rate / pressure. major convo around MFC, need more balance / different types in the midfield, glaringly obvious this afternoon when you see bulldogs mix, we won’t be a complete team till this happens Viney, May our best.
