  1. Mate. Are you going to give us some sort of idea of where this source is from within the wider expanses of what is the AFL? Or are you going to continue to ignore? I appreciate the fact you've come out and said what you have been told, but ultimatum comments without any context are the most agitating type of comment. Give us something. Please.
  2. Can you please divulge some more details? Perhaps how close this source is. How close they are to the club? Perhaps jot down your adress? So if it doesn't come to fruition I can hunt you down and slap your silly face.
  3. Well you must be either a St Kilda recruiter or work for GWS and know you're doing a trade for pick 1 in order to get Petracca? Which one is it?
  4. Well we're still talking hypotheticals. We have no idea whether or not this is true so declaring that this proves Roos doesn't rate high draft picks makes no sense.
  5. I'd back in the club now to draft and develop the best talent from the draft, given the opportunity. Stop referring to the past because it's absolutely irrelevant. The entire FD has changed as well as the list. All I'm saying is, I'd be disappointed if we were giving up pick 2 and 3 for Kennedy.
  6. As exciting as landing a player of his calibre is, if Brayshaw and Petracca were there at picks two and three and they become bonafide Stars of the comp I'd be sick to the stomach.
  7. Surely not? That makes the Judd deal look unbelievable for Carlton.
  8. I don't think I can go through another thread of this...
  9. This deal better be the catalyst for a mega deal in which we are the beneficiaries of a star. Otherwise, I will not be happy. I'm still a strong believer that Trengove has nowhere near shown what he is capable of and I'll be sick if we see it at the tiges.
  10. You're reading rumours from demonland and then reposting them as though they're given truths. You're doing it on just about every thread.
  11. If drafted to a club that develops him properly, he could be the pick of the draft with his ability. Reminds me of an early Judd in some of the footage I've seen. He'll be a very impressive player with the attributes he's gifted with.
  12. Unless this is part of some elaborate and secretive three-way trade intended to snare Dangerfield, I call BS. I hope BS. Trengove NEEDS a pre-season. He NEEDS to be injury free. And he NEEDS to play under Roos for us to see him shine.
  13. In the event that Petracca and Brayshaw are there for the taking at picks two and three, I'd be licking my lips.. I think everyone is aware that the MFC has come a long long way from the club that drafted Watts/Scully/trengove etc. Not only have our recruiting staff changed, but just think about the types of player personalities we have now compared to back then? And then obviously there's the coaches. Arguably one of the best head coaches in the business as well as his mastermind assistant. Simon Goodwin is now there for support. The landscape is extremely different to what it once was, so I think supporters need to take a deep breath and trust that we can actually draft well, develop and nurture well and then see these youngsters come to life and become serious players. It's as if our own supporters believe that any young player who is drafted to our club is destined to fail for what are now non-existent reasons. Of course we still need to improve our club culture etc, but I think it's fair to say gone are the days where we'll be drafting the wrong kids and blooding them at the wrong times only to see them fail... Have some faith ya'll.
  14. I'd do it only if we knew Petracca was gone at pick 1.Dahlhaus is a brilliant player and is only getting better. Another small forward has already proven he can have a serious impact in the midfield and Roos loves those types. It doesn't matter that he's small. He's really skillful, is great in contested situations for his size and hits the scoreboard. There's a reason the dogs rejected our tentative inquiry for him in the first place. I'd do it in a heartbeat, (if as I said Petracca was going at pick 1).
  15. Thankfully we live in a time where we no longer have to write letters as our only means of communication over long distances. (Roos doesn't need to be there in person for him to be kept up to date with the hypotheticals/offers/movements of trade week)
  16. Sure. But does that classify him a 'gun'? Definitely not.
  17. By close to the end, you mean halfway right?
  18. Greenwood a gun midfielder? Seriously? That's an enormous exaggeration.
  19. Greenwood underwhelms me majorly. He is an average midfielder who had a breakout season at age 25 playing in one of the stronger midfields of the AFL in my opinion. When you've got Harvey, Wells, Swallow, Cunnington and Dal Santo playing with you, it's going to make your job a lot easier. I hope people understand the significance of that. If we're targeting him, I hope we don't give up much. Sure he's an upgrade from McKenzie, Nicho and perhaps Matt Jones. But if you think he'd set the world on fire at our club, you'll be a sorry sort next year. (Providing we got him).
  20. I think I've got it..... We caught a Dangerfield, on the/our fishing line.
  21. Yeh look, can't say I'm familiar with it although I had a quick search and found the following: 'Bad Joke Eel is an advice animal image macro series featuring a close-up photograph of a Moray eel with various captions delivering unfunny puns and jokes, very similar to Lame Pun Coon.' Onwards with the morays.
  22. Would have more of an effect if there was a picture of a minnow in the background rather than a moray eel.
  23. This banter must cease immediately.
  24. zomg... I can't even.
  25. Hasn't been officially delisted yet. We just haven't offered him a new contract so we'll look at trading him. If that can't be facilitated, he will be delisted.
