Those who left on bad terms...
The Dees have not made it easy to love them over the decades. The only guys i would not want to see back are Judas Scully and Brick Mclean - I would not be opening the door with any great relish to the likes of Lyndon Dunn and Jeremy Howe either. Enjoy Collingwood, guys! The departure of Gerard Healy really hurt at the time, not that we could match Edelsten's merco-dollars. He was the Brownlow Medallist in the year that we faced Hawthorn in the GF. Could he have made a difference - I do not know. In his current media-career, he never touches upon his inner alignment to the club. I would welcome him back. He copped it from RDB in that famous footage - healing is required. Jacko is damaged goods. I am so glad that Jako is one of us. I wish that we could have heard more from the Ox since that famous night in Perth.

Danners and the Cup
Yes, Judas Scully.

Danners and the Cup
LIke all of us, Gary Lyon is a fallible human being. For sure, he has done well out of his career as a footballer, but his love of the club is not in doubt. I dont understand the semi-dislike for him, I really don't. Those who are immaculate in their judgements over a lifetime, let them cast the first stone! Let us not forget that there are currently four living Melbourne premiership captains. Insofar as Noel McMahen and John Beckwith are in good health, I hope they all play a role on December 5 with RDB and Maxy.

Just another Judas. Who cares.

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
If one cannot laugh at St Kilda and its monumental heroic ineptitude since 1896, what can one laugh at? This is not life-and-death stuff. It is sport.

Ladder Watch
Handbaggers play a dreadful style of football with their crab-like movements. Surely the gods of September will not reward such malfeasance!

Norm Smith-What happened in 1965
Am I wrong to suggest that Dr. D. G. Duffy was Norm Smith's main adversary on the Board?

The ANB Appreciation Thread
That goal from the boundary was one of the greatest goals I have seen in my life, comparable to Jako running around Chris Langdon at Waverley in 1992.

Alex Neal-Bullen
ANB is a good AFL-grade player. Any pick for him we receive in return will be speculative. I don't understand why he cops such bad press. Let's honour the contract in place!
