One reason might be a change of circumstance in the last 6 months and the potential of being out of a job in 1 years time. I'm not suggesting Goodwin would cut and run either. But suggesting a possible amicable arrangement whereby the club would only release Goodwin and he'd only leave, if Roos is prepared to step in.

And they'd certainly not be doing their due diligence if they didn't headhunt Goodwin. And we wouldn't be doing our due financial diligence if we didn't look at it as a potential opportunity of getting out of a contract that we may have to pay out 2 years on (End of 2022) if we're in the same position this time next year. I look forward to the incoming mockery ?
