Look I truly do commend you, I should have learnt my lesson I walked out on the Dees V Dogs game in 05 when White won us the game... Sadly I do turn the games off now I think part of me believes me watching is the problem and if I turn it off a miracle might happen....

Hahaha. It's not like we are playing against one of the generations greatest ever Forwards tonight...

HORE FROST WAGNER HIBBERD OMAC SALEM Oh dear.... this is concerning.
  6. With 666 it is imperative to be able to compete in the air and in the clearance, both of which Pruess will help us out with. Playing two rucks (& having the best tap ruck men in the league) we will win 70-80% of the taps which goes a long way to getting more clearances than your opponent. If our resting big man, plus Weid plus Tmac compete in the air (not all at once for the love of god) we wont get rebounded as easily Ala the Geelong game. I actually think the inclusion of Pruess will help out Weid and Tmac and allow them to play their natural games. Hunt seems to be working as a forward thus far and I have really liked the intensity and goal sense of the new boys in Lockhart and C Wagner. I am quite excited to see how this set up will go for us tonight. & as I said in a previous post I think Weid will play a blinder tonight, he can focus on his forward craft, jump at the ball, crash packs and do other Weid (v Geelong elimination final) things. I am actually shocked we didn't run with this combo in round 1, dare I say this might have changed that result... Best of luck big fella! Play your role and it will go a huge way in getting us the points.

Watch Buddy & Reid kick 10 between them and Kennedy get 35.

Well at least tonight we wont have the constant momentum killer in ANB butchering the absolute basics of the game.... I don't know what to expect tonight after "circling up"- One things for sure Sydney have been pretty bad at home the last two seasons... They haven't looked great this year either, hell if we were blessed with playing the blues in the first 3 rounds we too would have a win on the board... I'll say we will win, but with zero confidence at all.
  11. We are lucky in a sense this year that a lot of top rated teams are off to really poor starts... Adelaide, Essendon, Collingwood, Richmond and us all in most peoples top 8. Fully expecting for the dogs, lions dockers, hawks and power to drop off as the above teams start to pick up... Could be a year where 11-12 wins is top 8 and 14-15 is top 4. I know we wont play this badly for the year, and we will get on a run, it just depends on how late we leave it... If we can get to 7-6 around the bye I would back us in to finish strong and could very well end up top 4 with May and Lever in and settled.

Great job T-Mac... Stuck it out through the dark years, deserves success here's hoping we are the club which can provide it for him.

Expect Weid to have a ripping game.

If ANB is in the team I will not watch this game.

Outside mid, good in the air and kicks goals. Would love him at the Dees. In terms of trade value GC would likely want 2 first rounders for him, I don't think many teams will be willing to part with that kind of currency...

We have a young team stacked with talent... the reality is we wouldn't have too many players in our starting 22 which has completed 4+ pre seasons. To be frank a majority of our players aren't seasoned AFL players yet, we really cannot expect a team of superstars when half of them are still under 25, we will be inconsistent, our guys are still learning what it takes to be a professional and how to get the best out of themselves. Your point about the fail to develop our players is incredibly harsh, it's impossible to nail every single pick... Below is our top 4 picks from the previous 4 drafts. Highlighted are players many would agree are in the top 25-30 players on our list. 2018/2017 draftees are much too early to judge. With 3 duds on that list and 6 players still with potential to go along with 5 great players I am happy with that strike rate. These are also picks in years we we have been able to add in experienced players in, Lever, May, Melksham, Lewis & Hibberd who are all best 22. 2015- OLIVER, WEID, KING, HULETT 2016- HANNAN, JOHNSTONE (REST WAS TRADED) 2017- SPARGO, FRITTA, PETTY, BAKER 2018- SPARROW, JORDON, NITSCHKE, HORE Perhaps we need to give our team some time to gel, mature and condition to AFL and the toll it takes on young bodies?

Our recruiting has been great. IF we had a fully fit May & Lever on the park right now our team would like 100 times better. If you join the May and Lever Deals this is the result: IN: MAY, LEVER, KK, PICK 35 (2017)- PETTY, PICK 28 (2018)- SPARROW OUT: PICK 10 (2017)- FOGARTY PICK 16 (2018)- MCHENRY, HOGAN I can honestly say I'd prefer what we have in for what we got rid of however this could obviously change if those picks turn into out and out stars. We are a club which won't look to bend other clubs over at the trade table, we do fair low risk deals... Lever and May I can guarantee would walk into ANY teams starting line up and I really am looking forward to them playing together. We have also done a lot of not as notable deals over the past few years.. Melksham- 2nd rounder Hibberd- 2nd rounder 2nd round (Fritta)- Watts Lewis- 3rd rounder... Anyone who honestly thinks to FD is doing a poor job with the list decisions I encourage you to go back and look at the 2015 list and look at the transformation over the past 4 years, it is truly incredible. The club is in good hands, just incredibly frustrated with the poor start to the year like all of you and did not see the loss against Essendon coming. If we do not switch on fast, this year will be wasted. We are down on key personal, we are down on confidence, and we are down on fitness.
  18. This is the only hope we have the fact that the teams that "should" be top 8 are off to really slow starts. Add Adelaide and to a lesser extent Essendon, Sydney (never out of a season) and norf (tipped to be there abouts) to that list, none of these teams have more than 1 win.

I seriously will not watch our team until ANB is out. He is [censored] useless... Anb out jeffy in. Our forward line would be seriously quick then. FF Jeffy tracc Melk HF Hunt tmac Lockhart C Jones Harmes Salem HB Hibberd Weid Fritsch FB Jetta Frost j Wagner Fol Gawn Oliver Brayshaw Int Kk Preuss Viney c wagner Send weid to chb couldnt do worse than omac. I think preuss needs to come in on the bench and give maxy some time at FF.
  20. [censored] this pathetic club... just fold
  21. Utterly useless. ANB has killed our momentum on way to many occasions because he cannot do the fundamentals. Omac looks out of his league.
  22. Game over. Season all but shot, even if we make a run into finals we wont do any damage
  23. What a great quarter. Defensively looked 10000 times better, seems our mids got back and supported a bit more. Its funny what happens when you run and make space for your team mates. Umpires missed a few frees close to goal for us there. Need to keep the peptides in it somehow
  24. Okay I'm [censored] [censored]. How do we let a team who has scored 100 points in two rounds kick 40 on us in a [censored] quarter.
  25. wow, just wow. I reckon they are going at 8% efficiency there.
