Given he is contracted and certainly a required player.. Anything less than a early second round pick is a big loss from our point of view. Watch Mahoney be the good bloke and get him to where he needs to be for a swap of third and forth round picks or some [censored] like that.

It's funny I see tmac as a perfect fit for norf. Mainly because he can be played at both ends of the ground where as brown cannot. He would be useful to their young backs and forwards depending on how much they are getting spanked by haha.

Norf want Polec off their books. We want tmac off ours. They will need a swingman to help out with their rebuild we need another wingman. Seems like a match made in heaven. Would even happily hand over p22 as part of it if norf take some of polecs contact (they will need to pay someone to be close to their 95% of the cap) allowing us to go hard for Cameron.
  4. If he was worried about the direction of the club why the [censored] would he go to carlton? This would make a lot more sense if he was linked to a top 4 team, but carlton have performed worse than us in every year of Clayton's career bar 2019 when they finished 3rd last above us. They were over the moon with their year this year and they finished 2 wins behind us in a year we are bitterly disappointed. The only reason he would to to carlton is for the cash but if cash is what he is after you would just take the 1.5 mil from the Roos.
  5. Purely gut feel. Agree we don't bat deep enough in the midfield, however we have too many one dimensional mids.. I'd argue the Jack, Angus & Clarry are the only players who have no ability to play anywhere else on the ground other than on the inside. Clarry is out best mid, so he can occupy the inside for most of the game. However I don't think we can carry a team with two other players who cannot play anywhere else but on the inside. If we traded out a Jack or Angus so that we can acquire an outside mid with sublime skills I'd be all for it. It's a tough one, on talent you would take Angus over Jack. However Jack would be the player id least like to line up against.
  6. One thing is for sure I would hate to play against JV. I really do think we are tossing up between keeping him or Brayshaw.
  7. They can want two top 10 picks all they want but there isn't a chance they get two top 10s for him.
  8. There was a fair bit of talk about in on bomber blitz about a week ago. One poster brought up that Merrit isn't happy (he got shot down pretty hard) but there was a bit of a discussion on it. The OP mentioned carlton as a potential destination however. They then started saying the only way they do the deal is for Cripps.... Classic bombers
  9. Yes Cameron will come at a cost but look at the teams willing to offer the cash up for him. They know exactly what they are doing. He is a genuine match winner, will add 50+ goals and increase the output of others around him. Not to mention the increase memberships it will provide. May and lever are great but people dont go to the footy to watch backmen stop goals. It's time the club grew a set and offered up a serious contract for a serious player. If it means we lose Brayshaw/Viney (mainly due to cap space) so be it. We have many options on the inside. If we can bring across Saad and Cameron this trade period, we would finally have a complete list.
  10. There isn't a player in the AFL I dislike more than hunter. He is such a [censored]
  11. Well good news. Dogs completely and utterly out played the dockers for that quarter however we are only 2 goals behind.
  12. Fuuuuuuck
  13. Oh dear. Looking grim here
  14. Nice having a 2 X Brownlow winner on our team
  15. [censored] yes. Let's go boys!!! Kicking against the wind here too
  16. So do we deserve to play finals more than the saints and pies?
  17. They also lost to Collingwood, st Kilda and carlton by a combined total of 142 points. Not sure if your logic really adds up.
  18. Yeah not really understanding this dribble about how we don't deserve to play finals. We beat st kilda, pies & giants all finals contenders or there abouts. Lost by under a kick to two 4 four teams. And just had a poor showing against Freo and Sydney. (Freo since have shown a lot of teams how much they are clicking) The dogs for [censored] sake lost to the blues by 10 goals looked no where near it against pies and saints however have snuck a decent ground out win against the Eagles and played well against us. Saints are the same had some horrible losses including norf, the Eagles B team at the Gabba , Freo, but again they have also had some great wins port and Richmond spring to mind. Who ever is in the 8 tonight deserves to be there.
  19. This is the year to get one. With daniher, brown and Cameron all available this is really a chance to pounce. Cameron is the one I would be going hard for.
  20. Sparrow and petty are two ooc and would love to hang onto
  21. Could see the both heading to norf ... Man I cannot wait to play against omac

After the game he seemed to be very friendly with Maxy and Salem, more so than usual. Maxy also had a long and kind of serious conversation with daniher
