Welcome to Demonland: Trent Rivers
I have been watching Riv since we picked him up and was hoping to see more of him in ‘23, his kpi’s are through the roof and watching him yesterday he not only draws the ball to him he is starting to demand it when he is in space, his kicking has also improved in line with his form. Trent Rivers is on the cusp of stardom.!!!

Are West Coast tanking?
YES, YES and YES. More blatant than North and Hawks perhaps but North playing stronger now they can’t lose pick two and Hawks now putting in an appearance now they have pick three sown up.!!!!

Stats Files - 2023
Thanks DD our top 7 played out of their skins, shame about JV his efforts were enormous at winning the hardball and the turnovers resulted from the extreme pressure that the blues exerted on us. Our bottom 6 we’re sadly just that really poor.!! Trent Rivers really stood up again for us and welcome back Clarry.!!!

VOTES: Rd 22 vs Carlton
6 - JV 5 - Gus just got better and better 4 - Tracc kicked the winning goal but was robbed 3 - Hunter 2 - Ed 1 - Clarry had a huge second half very rusty but he has had a huge break from footy. Special mentions to our mighty backline May, Lever, Riv, Judd & Bowey and our Skipper who dominated the Ruck contests.

PREGAME: Rd 22 vs Carlton
Great to have Clayton back in the team his absence has forced us to utilise JV better increase Sparrow and Jordon’s role in the team and freed Brayshaw up to help increase our midfield rotations, these changes have made us a fitter and stronger unit. Also happy to see Brodie back in the side to good for VFL, we have to make this work and provide better support for our skipper over the next six weeks, this is crunch time.!!!!

Membership Tally 2023

Stats Files - 2023
Thanks DD I gave Hunter votes but did not realise just how good he was, same for JJ. Viney, Brayshaw and Tracc stood out and it’s always positive when the bottom 6 perform to a higher level, spots are hard to come by and we are only 3 weeks before finals. To bad Casey missed another game certainly doesn’t help our preparation.!!!

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
I love this thread it’s a bit like Xmas there is such a great mix of talented kids available this draft that would meet our ongoing needs, I for one will be disappointed if we don’t fill a couple of holes in our squad. iE tall midfielder, tall defender, one other and pup. One of the things that I have really noticed with North, Crows and Hawks is the number of talented talls that they have running around. We have excellent smalls and mids on the list but apart from Turner, Jefferson, Addams and Verrall we appear light on for tallish juniors running around.

Farewell Mitch Hannan
Poor Mitch Hannan that is a nasty one, I think that we will all remember that three bounce run down the wing and kicking the sealer against Geelong, the look on Scott’s face is priceless. Good luck Mitch whichever way your career goes you gave us all a very special moment on the way back from Hell.!!!

POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs North Melbourne
Very ordinary 1st quarter but then the Roos played their hearts out in the 1st half and it took a lot of hard work, pressure and a bit of accuracy (Kade Chandler) and brilliance (Kozzie) to get us back in the game. Inaccuracy in the last and the loss of Petty stopped us from racking up some percentage but happy with the team win in the end. Poor Harrison Petty when is he going to get a break.!!!
