  1. Thanks Kev always look forward to your reports sounds like you had a very interesting and enjoyable morning as well.๐Ÿ‘
  2. Pies first goal was a bump ball mark so the Saints out of bounce goal evened up the card, Saints were great.๐Ÿ˜
  3. Thanks WCW and Andy greatly appreciated, glad they didnโ€™t overdo the Captains Run, want them fresh and strong for tomorrowโ€™s game, really need to win this.!
  4. How is Petty handling the drill DLand, is he marking cleanly?
  5. We attended a number of games there including the game where the Wiz I think won goal of the year running from backline to forward line after kicking to Gaz and Gaz hand balling back then kicking the goal against Hawks. Also attended the infamous Prelim in โ€˜87 which left us shattered. We lived at Knox at the time and quite close. We moved to Diamond Creek the following year and only occasionally ventured out after that, although went out and watched Sandringham win the Granny there in I think 2000 but the facilities were neglected by then. I worked at Colonial/Telstra/Etihad and now Marvel Stadium when I retired from real work and enjoyed my time there, the seating and vision far superior to Arctic Park although took them a long time to get the surface right.
  6. FD I think that sums up all of us who were there that day, I thought the game was over and we had won.
  7. The problem is Itโ€™s Time for Another you have to go back to someone my age to even know that the original Duke of Windsor abdicated and thank god he did, his younger brother was the best of the two and we ended up getting Elizabeth The Great. I donโ€™t mind The Duke, rolls off the tongue and in the memory, I also liked the Old Duke of Edinburgh, cranky quirky and intelligent, whereas The Prince reminds me of a troubled singer that I just couldnโ€™t warm to, But each to their own.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
  8. Thanks WCW I have been really keen to hear how KFW was faring, there hasnโ€™t been much spoken of the young man and at 208cm is a very handy commodity developing and learning his skills out at Casey, well done. He sounds like a great kid.
  9. We sit on L2 Southern StNd and avoided the sun up until 3/4 time, normally on a2:30 start we would have been fried. Lol.!!
  10. Thanks WCW great to hear that the whole group are in such good spirits and so good that Clayton is really involved again.!!
  11. That is great news with Jed Adams developing nicely at Casey in the David Neitz Academy. Similar size and look as Harrison Petty, thanks Jed and MFC.
  12. Heโ€™s not getting too excited.!!
  13. Thanks binman I was watching Sparrow in the replay but couldnโ€™t work out what his role was, have Salo and Billingโ€™s edged him out a bit.??
  14. That is a great get for the Dees hopefully see a step up in media content, just need to get Benny Gibson back in the fold. !!
  15. Thanks DD much improved from the Swans game where we were mauled in the last quarter and a bit surprised that Rickโ€™s stats are better than Steven Mays. I thought that May was our best back by some margin.๐Ÿ˜
  16. You are correct IRW on a lot of occasions but on a lot of occasions Kozzie is the only one near the marking contest and he takes the responsibility to spoil the mark and he does it very effectively.!
  17. Mono they even queried an out on the full!! It was farcical.
  18. Great day to be at the G, 30oC a bit warm , 44,000 in the stands mainly ours, reasonable crowd noise hard and tough in the first half. It was a relatively stress free game to watch we took everything that the Dogs threw at us and didnโ€™t buckle. I said to my wife and daughter at half time letโ€™s see just how fit we are in these hot conditions and we werenโ€™t disappointed the longer the game went the better we looked. Team work was excellent and as mentioned by earlier posters TMac, BBB , Salo and Marty Hore were all rock solid, our stars Max, Tracc, Clayton,JV, Steve, Rick, Jack Billings and ANB all starred and they were all supported by our young brigade lead by Riv, Kozzie, Chin plus our relative new boys all pitching in together. Very satisfying winโ€ฆ.!!!
  19. 6 - Max 5 - May 4 - Clayton 3 - Jack Billings 2 - Tracc 1 - Kade Chandler Also so impressed with JV, TMac, BBB & Marty Hore plus all of our younger Brigade what a team effort.!!!
  20. Ed - Good second half.
  21. Agree BBP no point rushing him back if hasnโ€™t fully recovered, use Brown, Fullarton and TMac until he is cherry ripe.
  22. We have a car load coming to the game today, I am really looking forward to being back at the G surrounded by familiar faces and watching our regulars and newbies have a great game. Really interested in seeing how our boys respond to our off season issues. Dees by 30 in a hard fought tussle. Bring it on Dees.!!!
  23. Having Gus on the bench as the conduit between coaches and players on match days will be a big boon for our playing group - Starting tomorrow.โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’•
  24. Thanks Kev Martin and Dee Zephyr for the great updates, greatly appreciated.
  25. I think that a lot of D supporters and players underestimated Swans last week, feeling a little better about the loss tonight, great effort Swans and Heeney is a ripper.
