Angus Brayshaw played the game of his life so determined and brave, no one was going to get between Gus and the premiership cup. Absolutely loved his effort and controlled aggression coupled with his raw team lifting emotion.💕❤️💙

Efficient and effective is our Spargs’ reads the play so well and as previously mentioned pops up in all the right spaces and can scrounge a goal out of nothing. Charlie is a quick thinker, good tackler and rarely misses targets, he had a great year and is now a premiership player. Top effort young man, we are expecting the same result again in 2022.💕❤️💙

Agree 100% bing 181 and thanks to all posters made me sit down and have a quiet listen to hear it from the horses mouth so to speak. I really enjoyed how Burgo explained the way that the coaching staff and the fitness team got together to gain the trust and alignment of the two into one unit under Goody. Prior to bringing the team aboard and how critical Tracc and Max were in getting the team to buy in. Also loved his perfect storm description of the midfield group that broke the game open in the third led by a fresh Luke Jackson and how Max said that he would tear them apart. Train hard and when others are having a spell train harder.💕❤️💙

When we traded in Jake Lever it was a long term decision to fill a big hole in our team structure and add backline leadership to the group. We did have to give up a lot but Jake has proven his worth once he got his body right. In 2021 Rick took more intercept marks ,in the league, co led the stingiest backline since 1964, made all Australian and helped us win our first Granny in 57 years and as Demonstone pointed out we also ended up with Harrison Petty in that deal another premiership backline player. How sweet was that deal now.💕❤️💙

So arguably we received two first rounders back.😀💕❤️💙

That was a good read and yes we can get much better just by improving our kicking accuracy. As Luke Hodge pointed out we were the most inaccurate side in the league leading into the finals, continue to improve that forward delivery and we are going to be hard to stop. I am a firm believer that Belief is one of the strongest components of a winning team / culture and once you aquire it you will not relinquish it whilst you can still draw breath. On top of that we have the best list that I have experienced since the Red Fox years. I am very bullish about 2022 and beyond.💕❤️💙

We certainly missed Jacks hardness around the ball when he was out of the side but a fit and healthy Jack Viney is something to behold and his last 4 games were his best for the Club. He took some hits dished some out opened up the dogs for Harmes/ Fritsch goal and even hand balled to Lingers whilst undertaking a barrel roll over a fallen dog. Jacks role in the centre clearance spectacle in the third cannot be overstated. Jack is an awesome footballer and it was terrific to see him get caught up in the raw emotion of the game and totally enjoy his / their mighty achievement. 💕❤️💙

Rivers along with all our recent additions are tough skilled footballers that are mature beyond their years and are well balanced pleasant individuals. No Toby Greene antics, their parents must be very proud of them as are we.!!💕❤️💙

What a pick up what a star, LJ, Jack,Clarry and Tracc were irresistible in that 18 minutes in the third that stunned the Dogs and put us on the path to a crushing win. I will always remember those 18 minutes and the role that Luke played in our drought breaker and he was still four days off his 20th birthday.!!!!!💕❤️💙

A lot of work there deejammin’, looks like you have covered all bases and I also agree that another young quality outside mid / winger would provide that additional coverage if we cop injuries. Another Trent Rivers type I.e 188cm defender / mid would also be good. Lol!!

Earlier today I watched the Lions final mini, followed by the Cats PF mini then topped it off with the Dogs GF mini, just great how we just got better and better each game, ahh bliss.💕❤️💙

I agree that a rest for No.2 sounds like a great idea I like Sparrow in 32. We could reshuffle some of the middle order numbers but Who would be able to step up to No.2 ??

Another young player that has impressed since day one, stated that he wanted to be the best that he could be. Tracc worked hard for himself and his team, he can turn a game ala RDB he shares the ball with everyone in a better position and just got better and better as we progressed in the finals playing his best ever game on the big stage when it counted the most. Tracc deserves every accolade that comes his way but at the same time was very emotional and raw upon achieving our greatest victory in 57 years.!!!💕❤️💙

I am thinking that the euphoric feeling that just keeps flowing through our veins and minds is caused by the unexpected heights that our boys soared to, I have never witnessed such exquisite football before. I have to keep watching it to prove they were so bloody good.💕❤️💙

Love Harmseys energy, toughness, team spirit, work Ethic and dare I say it skill set. James has worked his butte off to become a better more skilled footballer and is an integral part of this great team of ours.💕❤️💙

Christian Salem has looked a player from day one and what a “A” grade game he played in the Granny, just superb.!!
