  1. when the opposition is THIS bad...yes.
  2. just ordered a longsleeve dark blue and naarm beanie.. always regret not buying an indigenous jumper and never had a longsleeve before. never too late (41). psyched.
  3. Currently looking at grabbing one of the nifty longsleeve guernseys from the MFC website.. Wondering if I can pay extra for a number on the back (10), or if the club is no longer doing this?..I know that they used to years ago?.. Additionally, I'm be interested if all Demonlanders were given the chance to obtain a free jumper from the club, and you could get a number on the back to represent the love ofyour fave player, which number would you ask for? Go Dees
  4. he only knew after asking the umpire what on earth it was for..
  5. I agree.. not sure why so many of the team have been fumbling and yesterday was particularly bad (obviously it was highly contested, but still, there were many dropped uncontested marks). and yes, my fave brayshaw has been one of the big culprits. not a great look. i also noticed chandler was a little guilt of it it in the first half too. it seems to catch on throughout the rest of the team, much like missed shots at goal.. a slightly better/healthier opposition yesterday would've made a more stressful watch. we were lucky we weren't punished.
  6. yep, worried rivers will leave too.. oh well, can't keep em all. i do like him though. just as long as we keep kozzy.
  7. wish we'd gone for hotton. gruzewksi was also a big miss. would've been happy to trade up to get either of them.
  8. its just wrong nev is at the pies.. i was hoping this thread was about him coming back home.
  9. goal kicking mid thanks
  10. 'um yeah, morning everyone.. i got a burger and chips and thickshake today on our magnificent journey to the victoria gardens food court. the burger has protein, the chips have sodium - just like our drinks at halftime and the thickshake is making my legs thicker. i think this is good stuff to eat. in conclusion, i hope to continue my good dieting habits daily and thank you very much for your time.'
  11. Brayshaw isn't going anywhere and if he does, I will be heartbroken, cos he's my fave.. Has been since he used to set up Garlett! Love how he's evolved as a player and don't care if he plays wing or half back, he's great and verging on AA at either position. Just love him. Vice Captain I reckon. Although it'd be a bit crap to take that off Viney..
  12. 6 Oliver, 5 Gawn, 4 Sparrow, 3 May, 2 Langdon, 1 Brayshaw
  13. 6 - Oliver. Won us the game. Tore away from packs and kicked to forwards lace out. Just a terror. 5 - Brayshaw - My fave. Love him and everything he does. Like to think I'd play like that if I could run farther than the corner shop. 4 - Happy E - Legend. Love the way he plays the game. Always looking for a one-two and loves a goal. 3 - Bowey. Just can't get enough of his disposal. Love he's starting to get a little tougher too. So much time and plays the half back role well. 2 - Weid. Happy he got amongst it, but wasn't as enthused as others about his performance. Seems like a really nice guy and that, but just can't see him sticking around.. Had hoped to see Van Rooyen this game, but Sam went ok. 1 - Joel Smith - Not a fan, but his best game if you ask me. Credit where credit is due. Good spoils. Not terrible disposal. Stretched the lines. Gives us something the other defenders don't. Still, I doubt him. Hon Mention: Fritsch. Style and technique (lower that hair though Bayley, lol). Loved how he went for the speccie at the end and did basically the same thing as he did in the GF and got one over the back. Cheeky.
  14. 6 Trac 5 Bowey 4 Jackson 3 Kozzy 2 Brayshaw 1 ANB
  15. 1. Swans 2. Dees 3. Lions 4. Port 5. Dogs 6. GWS 7. Freo 8. Carlton
  16. I realise it was the first game, but felt that Jordan was a little slow and sluggish tonight.. Although Bedford had a few fumbles early I reckon that if it was out of the two of them for next game I'd be tempted to go Bedford. So glad Toby finally got a chance - such a likeable young fella. I have no doubt that Jordan will be back to 2021 form, but looks a bit off at the moment.

  18. really enjoyable game. loved tayla harris' efforts putting pressure on in the forward line and her flying for marks. she seems so stoked to be playing with the dees and especially daisy again! love to see it.. also, bannan, mithen, pearce, paxman all really played stood out to me. loved the hard at it contest work in the last qtr from both sides.. they were clearly out on their feet.
  19. just watched my second full replay of the GF.. i'd of course done the rewatch skipping the second and start of the 3rd quarters, but am home alone and poured some glenfiddich after dinner and just took it all in.. a few observations: - the dogs blatantly threw the ball around 10 times that i saw (we might've done it once?) - bont is a great player (obvious) - libba really went missing in the second half - sparrow was really really good. i remember thinking this at the time, but upon rewatch, he was so calm! - although pickett didn't kick a goal, his fingerprints were all over most of them - trac and oliver, once they get on top just bullied the dogs and did whatever they wanted * i cannot wait to see more of this.
  20. late second/early third rounder at most.. if we'd got rid of chandler, i'd be keen as, but hopeful kade will take the next step and get some games in 2022. everyone at the club seems to love him, still yet to see what they rate about him, but happy to be surprised next season. hope hill doesn't go to essendon. :-/
  21. this guy is legit hopeless.. how can say that declasse is C grade when he hasn't played a game yet? yet turner is 'needs more time'?.. just give up mate. i swear, despite us being premiers and having such a good year, the industry pundits who analyse/comment on our list must do their reports in a 5 minute email. so [censored].
  22. I've got one of those too.. He's a real [censored]! Lol. Yep, he can probably get a regular game at Essendon, Carlton, Collingwood, North, Geelong - any of the other shamozzle of Victorian clubs :-P
  23. Just so many.. Wouldn't like to be the one to decide! As others have said though, Kozzy & Fritsch have improved immensley, Petty is a lock down back now, Gawn improved his tap-outs (less 'clever' to effective), Oliver running out of congestion, Angus doing Angus things (in a good way), ANB setting us up as the connector....Goodwin.
