disappointing that he made sense... taking the easy option/less attacking option. remember in 2016-2020 when we would just over-handball (clarry in particular, but a lot of the team)? hand-balling to stationery targets and hand-balling almost for the sake of hand-balling... no sense. our coaching has been pretty ****ty (goes without saying) for a long time now.

might we be about to be the biggest possible baddie and nick one of the suns' prized recruits/bid for them at 7 & 8 (if that's what we get for CP?).. I would love to become the villain at trade time instead of the 'easy beat'. like 75% of the supporters on here and social media, i'm [censored] off that we are looking like bending over this trade period (even more than normal). SURELY, they have something planned.. SURELY. surely?.. we must be one of the most undesirable clubs going. the only positives i can see are, we play the MCG for home games and that we have Gawn and Kozzy and maybe a few POTENTIAL young stars coming up. i had been quite positive about King's appointment, but geez.. not sure to make of things if the cards fall like we are all expecting :-/

although some have said that he is not a contested player (true), i stand by the statement that he is hard at it (stands up in collisions and puts his body on the line).

if we do end up gulp with picks 7 & 8, i'm liking Robey and Lindsay. surprised that no one has mentioned Lindsay. antother with great foot skills & looks hard at it too. potential mid?

it would've been hard not to giggle, or express utter shock when North put that to the Pies recruitment team.. so glad we didn't got for Simpkin.. he's a nothing player. apart from being the captain of North, what else does he do?

changing out style might even revitalise our wanna-way star petracca..?

any insights into heath as a player? obviously a big unit, seems pretty athletic.. is he purely a ruck, or does he have capacity to go forward and kick straight too? anyone see much of him in the vfl?

as mentioned in the thread already, steele would be welcome as a last resort for some maturity/inside mid-ness coming in, with us losing mature bodies of trac and clarry, but only if its a deal we 'can't refuse' $ wise.

has been one of my fave non-dees since he came on to the scene.. looking forward to seeing him look much better in red & blue and kicking bags. fingers crossed on hid body.

i reckon if we are meeting potential players, that would be part of the selling point.. they would be getting more of an update on Caulfield than the fans have thus far. just a hunch.

stating the obvious, no point looking at the draftees for our picks yet really as we don't know what we'll have come the actual Draft. we could have two top 10s, or we could just end up with kalani and a few late speculators?..

i'd trust King to know if he had the potential/temperament. we clearly need more speed and run.. all for it if King is keen.

i agree totally with mousymoo (think that was the name).. if we get paid (picks or players) then ship him out and evolve. however, should he stay, i can imagine him receiving handballs on and hoofing it down to Roo & Mihochek (quick ball). potentially.. as he has had years to improve his kicking (for goal and inside 50) and hasn't. maybe just long bombs when the forward line is open and the oppo's defence hasn't had time to get settled is a good use of him?

as a raiders fan, i am as quiet and annoyed as i am after a dees capitulation.... we just stopped playing in the last 20 mins of regular time.. :-/

Mihochek has been one of my non-Dees players for years. good player who goes about his business modestly. harder than fristsch, but a bit too similar?
