  1. It's looking like a very quiet trade period for us.
  2. GWS pretty adamant that they won't trade him. Shut the door in this one.
  3. He's not Chris Judd for Gods sake. Go and watch Zac Butters junior highlights. Not flashy at all, if anything it's underwhelming compared to what Smith has shown. You do understand not every draftee are going to have exactly every trait you've just highlighted in a footballer. It's utterly bizarre you think top draft prospects should be the complete package. Nick Daicos biggest weakness going into the draft was his strength and overheard marking and yet he still performs just fine. You're nitpicking for the sake of nitpicking..
  4. Think you need to actually take the time to.watch these kids.. It hasn't stopped the likes of Nick Daicos dominating from day one with his light frame? Daicos was only 73kg when he was drafted and Smith is about similarly weight and exactly same height. Zac Butter who Jason Taylor tried desperately hard to trade up for in the 2018 draft is another similarly to Smith plays. One of his biggest strengths is his kicking and ability to break the lines and motor himself to each contests. Just one small example why this kid has been rated a genuine top 3 propsect for the best part of 18 months.
  5. Oh please.. He's not a kid mate, he's a 27 year old grown adult. Time to start acting like one for once in his life.
  6. You do realise every draftee has faults and deficiencies that will need improving coming into an AFL system right..
  7. My top 5 Phantom draft. Richmond: Sam Lalor North: Finn O'Sullivan West Coast: Jagga Smith Adelaide: Sid Draper Melbourne: Harvey Langford
  8. Yeah good one with the Fremantle one. I'd honestly be very surprised on top of everything else that's going on off field with the review, that they'd actually find the time to be talking to other potential applicants and then coming up with some sort of agreement all behind Goodys back. Not sure Brad Green is capable of doing this amongst everything else.
  9. We'll pick off the remaining player off this list in Lalor, Smith, FOS, Langford and Draper.
  10. I cannot remember a time where a coach has been sacked with an immediate permanent coach put in place. They'll go through the normal process and conduct interviews with a number of applicants.
  11. No he wasn't. I believe they didn't attract many applicants because of how bad the place was and certainly wasn't an enticing place to attract good applicants at the time. It took Greg Swann to pick up and put the call out to Fgan and asked if he was interested. Fagan was general manager of footy for the Hawks at the time and had always held interest in coaching so he took the call, went up and interviewed and the rest is history.
  12. Very similar to the mess that Chris Fagan walked into when he took on the Brisbane gig.
  13. Danny Daly. Has been Chris Fagans right hand man for the past couple of years and has been noted as a big architect in their success behind the scenes. Currently a wanted man around the country. Adelaide were chasing him hard as a senior assistant to support Matthew Nicks. Collingwood are also chasing him hard as we speak. Fages pays full credit to Daly for his support and ability to provide calmness and stability when he was stood down for the racial investigation. A wise man who's an incredible character very similar to Fagan.
