Cheers Carlton. -

Where does Chris Dawes fit in all this?
dazzledavey36 replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
If Pederson can actually start to really impact the scoreboard i have no doubt he'd be a very important best 22 member of our team. Does everything else right just need 2-3 goals a week from him. -
Where does Chris Dawes fit in all this?

If we are talking about Future then i personally can't see him doing much at all this year. In saying that Frost and Pedersen have to keep their form up and Dawes has to bang the door down at Casey to get a game. -

He hasn't cemented because a spot because of injury and body just simply won't allow him to perform for 22 rounds. If Pederson and Frost keep their form up he will just be a back up if one goes down. His only benefit to the team is educating Weideman and Hulett down at Casey. I -

Dawes hasn't exactly cemented for 3 years either. -
Because i am struggling to see when he is back playing how he will fit in the team. I am sure he has added great leadership over the journey but personally he is too limited, and with Frost and Pedersen playing good footy i cannot see him playing much at all this year. Will be good for Weideman down at Casey though teaching him and providing leadership and experience

The only reason people may think they are saviours are the ones who start threads like this. Couldn't disagree more.

Ripper article by Cal Twomey! http://m.afl.com.au/news/2016-04-28/petracca-fascination

Yeah thinking about it now he really did have no influence on the game.. I'm too lazy but what were his stats at the end of the night?
-
Yuk

Heard this too. Ross hasn't been impressed with the way he has gone about things with GWS.

Mate nothing wrong with the interview at all. Robbo and Gerard have never met him and many of us actually actually never knew his background as a teenager. What i got out of that is how hard he has had to work on his professionalism. Its a credit to him. Everyone in the AFL industry is intrigued by big Max and we love him . He knows the up and downs of being an AFL player so i have no doubt it will hold him on a good stead.

Source. Interesting though most 1st gamers get told mid week as it gives them that couple of days to organize family tickets and more direct focus on the game and potential opponent's.

Jack Viney's square off on Rance
dazzledavey36 replied to Vandenberger With The Lot's topic in Melbourne Demons
This is the same Mick Malthouse who was coaching West Coast at the time that rang up Todd Viney and abused him because Chris Lewis nearly bit his finger right off. Work that out... -
2004 it was.

Essendon deserved to win that game hands down. They beats us in all aspects of the game. The Kangaroos game is one that still angers me. We potentially could have been 4-1 with us being the only side to knock off North.
-
Whats with the face expressions he pulled when he kicked his 2nd goal.. haha
-
IF that's the case then the right decision for sure. Who replaces Salem at HBF now?

Ok.. That's going way over the top. I expect our boys do give the same exact treatment to any 1st gamers that play against us. -
Absolutely.. Still a very important member of the team. With out new fast quick game plan his kicking becomes very important now.
-
He must be glad now he turned down Richmonds offer..

Thank You Paul Roos and Peter Jackson

Maybe some sort of welfare role with him and Tammy that look after newnrecruits from interstate/country. Bit like what the Lamberts did at GWS and nor Brisbane. They could all bunk at his mansion. -
Why?
