  1. If Nathan Jones is happy im happy! Nathan Jones ‏@nathan2jones 18h18 hours ago Get around the new demons @lefrost48, Heritier Lumumba, Jeff Garlett & @billyjstretch! I'm excited by these great additions, big preseason
  2. No but he was one of their key defenders this year which they are already light on.
  3. peter ryan ‏@AFL_petryan 18h18 hours ago Slow progress being made in negotiations between GWS and Melb on Sam Frost. He can go through pre-season draft if deal not done. #AFLTrades
  4. No What a stupid question. People are quick to forget his work along with Viney in getting Tyson Vince and Cross last year.
  5. Knee injury doesn't seemed to have affected Troy Menzel.
  6. I am very very surprised we aren't pushing hard for Mitch Hallahan...
  7. NAB Trade Radio ‏@traderadio 18h18 hours ago "Never say Never" - @melbournefc Josh Mahoney on whether picks 2 & 3 could be traded today #NABTradeRadio
  8. Or he just has simply has nothing. Plain and simple. The bloke tries to turn this site into a bloody circus only to look like an absolute fool at the end. Don't understand why people take him serious.
  9. Lever was back to full training towards the end of the TAC cup. Warmed the bench up in one game and sat out the grand final. Did the draft combine testing so will be full training come pre season.
  10. Couldn't see the club having him and Garlett at the club together.
  11. https://soundcloud.com/nabtraderadio/josh-mahoney-nab-trade-radio?utm_source=soundcloud&utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=twitter Doesn't mention Lever at all.
  12. This was written in Angus Brayshaws AIS diary in Europe. ''My thigh was still a little painful so I sat out this morning's training session, which was at a local soccer field about 15 minutes from our headquarters''. ''Because of that I trained with the rehabilitation group, which today was run by Jake Lever, who continues his comeback from a knee reconstruction at the end of last year. Jake led the way with some core work and boxing, which was pretty tough - even tougher considering Jake almost represented Australia in boxing at the 2012 Olympics''.
  13. Enormous talent! The kid captain Vic Metro last year as a bottom ager so it just shows the leadership qualities he presents something Paul Roos screams for. A huge endorsement from his peers. He is probably the closest thing in terms playing ability to Nathan Fyfe where he is that tall midfielder who is very courageous in the air and can take a big pack mark. Has a huge leap him. He is cool and calm under pressure and shows good poise with ball in hand. Don't pencil him in as a defender he will be drafted as a mid by us could make a big impact in years to come. Very driven and determined character and for what its worth he was apparently close to representing Australia in Boxing so not only is he a very hard trainer he is also a tough nut! A 194cm midfielder to go along with Viney, Tyson, Brayshaw, Salem, Kent, Michie, Toumpas, JKH has the potential to become a potent midfield in years to come.
  14. Ian Kyte, Calder Cannons: "Jake had his knee reconstructed in December. He's back in training now and he'll be ready to go when he gets to a club. Had he played this year he would possibly have been the No. 1 selection, he's a tall, aggressive, competitive key defender who's a really good leader. He might have even spent some time in the midfield this year had he been able to play His leadership qualities have improved this year even though he hasn't been able to play and he hasn't missed a beat with his recovery, he does everything right, to the point we had to force him to take a break at times."
