  1. Yep still trying to work that out aswell.
  2. They are pretty impressive numbers for an 18 year old rookie list player. Keep developing the way he is and we could have the next Will Langford heres hoping....
  3. His passion to get rid of the likes of James Mcdonald when Dean Bailey promised him a one year contract only to have Connelly and Schwab reverse the ddecision to focus on the 'kids'.Spare me seriously.
  4. Saw on instagram he is in a moonboot.
  5. Get your head out of your ass he stood up for himself and also for Dean Bailey. He could see the toxic culture that was developed and eventually explode into a complete mess. Also the fact the club told him to take a pay cut after he donated 10 grand is a disgrace! He was a leader and a guy that bled red and blue. Chris Connelly and Cameron Schwab thought they could get away with their little snide games. Best thing thats happened to this club is Brock opening up the truth On the Couch.
  6. WTF!Do your research first before looking like an absolute [censored]. He donated towards the debt demolition to try and help this club clear its debt. He was the only player that stood up that night and said he was willing to dig into his pocket and donate to our frail club. It was a terrific show of leadership and he will always be part of the MFC in helping this club get rid of the debt. He is understood to have been hurt and disappointed recently when asked to take a pay cut after spending $15,000 at a Demons auction night and, last year, donating $10,000 to the club's Debt Demolition program.
  7. Exactly people berate Mclean because he stood up for what he thought wasn't right for this footy club and at the end of the day he is right. That tanking saga ran by two of the biggest [censored] strainers in the MFC in Connelly and Schwab set this club back a further 6 years. Brock even mentioned that he felt for Dean Bailey because this was coming from the likes of Stynes, Connelly and Schwab who instigated all this and Bailey had no choice but to go by their orders. Lets not forget he also donated $10,000 towards out of his own pocket money to help this club.
  8. I always thought this guy would play 250 games for us and lead us to a premiership. In 2006 after that final I thought he was destined to become a star for us. He has now been delisted on 157 games. Take away the Tanking drama its been a massive fall from grace for McLean.
  9. I understand what your saying but jeez I seriously reckon he wouldn't look out of place come round one standing next to Dom Tyson.Just remember he will add mkre size to his frame come round 1. I can see him making a impact straight away like Luke Dunstan and Ollie Wines.
  10. Agreed makes you wonder who the hell made those other ones. In fact all original highlights really are pretty ordinary and most of the draftees that are expected to go top end.
  11. The newly updated and much better version Highlights. http://www.afl.com.au/video/2014-09-13/angus-brayshaw-highlights Two words... All Class! It is seriously insane how this kid can kick and hit targets lace out with both sides of his feet. I am still yet to work out what his preferred foot is?? He combines a skill of silk, inside grunt work and strong overhead marking. Pick 2 or 3 either way we will have a beauty here and can't wait to see him run out next year. Time to get the ball rolling again with this one!
  12. Id rather Peter Wright then McCartin. 203cm tall with a big engine who can take some serious pack mark and split them. He can also play ruck which is something needed these days to be an AFL player and that's versatility. McCartin is a one trick pony who can play one position and that's it...... At least Hogan can push up field and even become another midfield option.
  13. They have not once mentioned that Lovett is a top 5 potential.. Unless you have the proof I highly doubt they mentioned that.
  14. Im a Miller fan.Reminds me of the way Daniel Kerr played.
  15. These are videos frm him playing agains the best kids in the country. Not the TAC cup where obviously he would dominate. Seem underwhelmed to me.
  16. I wouldn't be surprised if some like Jayden Laverde sky rockets into top 3 calculations.
  17. Tell you what these Peter Wright highlights are pretty darn good. http://www.afl.com.au/video/2014-09-14/draft-prospect-peter-wright
  18. You only have to look at Sydney and Hawthorn and see you need atleast 10 to 13 plays that are able to run through the midfield. We have about 6 that are genuine midfielders atm.
  19. Turn it up Biff regardless Petrie still kicked 50 goals, Harvey playing midfield still pushed forward and kicked 29 goals. Lindsay Thomas managed 45 goals this year aswell. Don't know how can sit there and say that Norths forward weren't much chop this year. It is a reality check to our forward line that we still have a long long way to get to those numbers. And for your information Aaron Black had a rubbish year but he still managed 26 goals. That's 6 more then our actual leading goal kicker for the year...
  20. Me too the guy has some serious class and probably bit shocked he potentially could slip to pick 40.
  21. I did some researching and came across the Roosy pie night in August this year. Stole this quote from pitmaster who attended the night and practically got this from Roosy himself. We won't draft Wright even if available. Roosy did not exactly say this but he gave a very strong indication when the words 'won't take Wright' came out as part of an unfinished sentence. He was going on to say something else but stopped himself, but it was his comments about talls and the TAC that were most informative. He told us about the special rules for the TAC about no double teaming on talls, no players dropping back to flood and the fact that talls at that level often are mismatched for opponents. Mids on the other hand are matched evenly and it was clear he reckons a good mid at TAC level has a much higher chance of being a good mid at AFL level than a tall has of making the same progression. In other words TAC is so unlike AFL that it's not a good guide for talls. He explicitly said - "you can't judge talls in the TAC Cup". Plus he talked about the need for many mids - high half forwards who play as mids, half backs ditto, wings...you get the picture. Key message for me was we will draft mids and trade for talls. In fact I wanted to ask would he have drafted Hogan but did not get the chance, but given the Hulk's exceptional body the answer was probably yes. In summary he does not value draft picks the way some of us do: 'at Sydney we traded many draft picks because it's a lottery, the draft".
