  1. Agree. While Dawes has provided the on/off field leadership we lacked his on field output has been disappointing.Needs a big year next year. He has slimmed down, doing his first full pre season in years, will have Hogan and Garlett next to him so I expect atleast the 40 goal mark this year.
  2. If he was stiff in the back then the right option would have to just rest him. They made a blue and it shouldn't happn again. And im sure it won't.
  3. Wouldn't be surprise if its only back spasms by the sound of it.I know the physios do a fantastic job but they got the Hogan one wrong last year and it cost him a whole year. Should have just rested him. It was only NAB cup. Im sure they will be extra cautious with him this summer.
  4. Toumpas/Cross If its one bloke Toumpas could learn off in terms of work ethic and experience its Daniel Cross. Loving this.
  5. The two AIS boys are Josh Schache who is from my way. He is the son of late Lawrence Schache who played for Fitzroy. 196cm 90kg key forward who is expected to go top 10 in this years draft. An exciting prospect. One to watch. And Kieran Collins from Dandenong Stingrays. 192 key forward or back.
  6. Cheers Pigga. One kid that everyone has forgotten about is Jayden Hunt. How is he tracking along and do you see him sneaking in for a game or two next year. I believe he is very much a project player.
  7. The Terlich comment just proves AGAIN your lack of general knowledge on certain players and the game itself. An unbelievable comment.Name me the 20 players please.
  8. If thats case why hasn't Sylvia become the gun player he is suppose to while he is in a 'top side' now. Alot of people argued he would be a potential brownlow medalist if he was in a good team. Struggled in the WAFL all year.Explain what happened to pick 4 Cale Morton at West Coast? Not even Woosha could turn this kid around. Again struggled in the WAFL like Sylvia. We all thought Gysberts was gonna prosper at North Melbourne? At the time alot of people suggested we had made a big mistake trading him for Pedersen. Couldn't even crack one game. Travis Johnstone struggled at Brisbane. Enough side. 4 really talented players we all agreed that in much better sides they would be gun players. Again they all failed. Infact just shows talent alone wont turn you into a star player. Again its a myth. You either apply yourself or you dont.
  9. Ahh the old he 'would be a much better player in a good team'..Biggest myth in football history.
  10. Has Viv been training in the midfield group or backline?I thought his last game where he was playing off a half back showed some real promise. His kicking is such a weapon you just need the ball in this guys hand to set us up.
  11. Just on Viney. He missed a fair chunk of the pre season and only got going around Nab Cup last year. Bit of perspective please.
  12. Max Gawn. A full pre season could see this giant of a man take over from Jamar and make it his own. Also really really hope Toumpas has a great year. I dont expect him to have a Dom Tyson like year I just want a year where we see glimpse ofnwhat he can do.
  13. Wrong Bailey was set to offer Mcdonald a one year contract only to be overturned by two flogs in Schwab and Connelly.True story
  14. If thats the case Saty wouldn't last a day hereThe old "I know the players better then anyone here because I speak to them 24/7" should do the job
  15. And also Dom Tyson. I noticed Petracca was wearing Hawthorn footy shorts from when he trained at the hawks at the start of the year..
  16. This is a stupid postIm sure if Roosy saw this he would be be tearing his hair .at Angus for putting it out public. Should suspend for round 1 I reckon.
  17. ×2 I have also two cousins running around aswell who get a xmas program they must complete. One of them is currently in rehab so his program is different to the others. I am not sure what my other ones program is as he is currently overseas spending xmas with all our other relatives but.
  18. Port Adelaide are a big fan of this drill. The physical pain is one thing but mentally its a whole new level.
  19. I will second this also. I live down the road at Everton and the Beechworth brewery is one I highly recommend to anyone that sails on through there. Some of the local brew is just as good if not better then majority of the commercial beers.
  20. Massive difference between this and the Tyson one. First of all we are talking about a kid who has just been in the system for 5 minutes. Most 18 year olds on on christmas day would be having a few beers here and there and relaxing. You just never expect that from a rookie on christmas day doing a gruelling running session. Secondly Brayshaw didn't ping a hammy while doing this. In fact he got through unscathed. The reason why Tyson did his was because he was hamstring was still a bit tender from his knee injury. He himself even admitted that he went way too hard first up. Besides you expect blokes like Tyson doing be doing this kind of stuff because at the time he wanted to get fit as possible and prove a point. Which he has. Get the point your trying to make but its a fantastic effort for a kid to be doing this on a day where all you do is eat, sleep and drink.
