One of the big positive for me was the way Hogan crashed the pack which created a spill and a goal to Kent. I haven't seen that since the David Neitz era where he would do this every game.. If thats what we have install for us this year i am going to enjoy seeing the like of JKH Kent and Garlet feed off him. Im calling it now but i think Newton will have a Anthony Miles/Dom Tyson like year this year. Just his class and inside work was fantastic. Add him to an already impressive midfield in Jones,Tyson,Viney,Vince and he will go alright.

And Terlich finished third.And someone i actually would have over Grimes actually. While he can be poor by foot at times he tries to give us some run and carry and takes the game on.

Mate give it a rest no one has yet to take a liking or any mild interest in your 'Golden Ticket' tripe.

And a good taste for him as a sub. And if that was the Case i would have dropped Jones and upgrade Vandenberg to a full game. Looked so comfortable straight away.

You also did point out and raved to us that Grimes Mckenzie and Matt Jones had improved their kicking skills out of sight.

Moral of the story is me and many other much rather Billy Stretch play then Matt Jones tonight.Coaching staff obviously do team selections and let me tell sometimes they aren't always the right decision. Tonight was one of them

Dont understand why Billy Stretch wasn't given a go today. He has been in impressive form over the summer and i would have rather him play then Matt Jones.

Crossy still has it in him. I trully believe this wont be his last year.

First of all let me say i was gobsmacked when guys who have over 100 games experience are making the most basic simple skill errors! Mark Jamar, Chris Dawes, Jack Grimes and Colin Garland were just atrocious with their skill level. I cannot believe how far back Jack Grimes has gone.. I use to be his biggest fan but he is just so bad with his disposal skill. Will lucky to play 10 games this year. Casey is looming for him. Jamar ffs you just have to kick those..! Dont rate Dawes and never have. Positives is the likes of Hogan, Newton, Tyson, Toumpas, Kent, Michie, Frost, Vandenberg showing the way with glimpse and just need more games into them. Lumumba and Nathan Jones were best on for us and i thought Garlett gave us a real spark when he moved into the midfield. There were alot of positives but these guys who are ment to be leading the way were way below par.

You do realize that will most likely result in more knee injury's and tears. If anything he needs to trim it down a bit. Take the stress off his knees

Im willing to give the likes of Mckenzie Jones and Bail a go. They are senior mature players with experience. Especially against the likes of Freo we need all the experience we have. Until someone like a Stretch or Brayshaw absolutely smash the door down at Casey then these guys get the nod for the time being.

Glad Brayshaw isn't named. This is what should have happend Toumpas couple of years ago. Bit surprised Aidan Riley isn't named. From what i heard he was doing alright in the intra clubs.

Good pick KC. A talented player just had a bit of bad luck with injuries. Seems that Casey have alot more depth this year.
