Got 60 games in 4 years which is not a bad effort at all. Should hold his head up high and be proud that he's achieved something on here many would love to do. He's a fully qualified sparky do at least he has that to fall back on. A footy career in the EFL beckons. Good luck in the future Jonesy.

I know we shouldn't take into account on these things but his best friend from childhood is none other then Clayton Oliver. Both families are quite close and if the opportunity for Josh to come back to Victoria then i have no doubt we would be in the box seat.

His old man played there and Josh was also a Brisbane supporter. In saying that Josh's is very very close to his Mum who is a widow. I know for a fact Josh really struggled with homesickness as it was the first time he's ever been so far away from his mum aince his dad passed away.

When Jeff Garlett is missing from the side we rely on Ben Kennedy and Alex Neal Bullen as our next small forwards. both of them are just depth. Look at Neal Bullens rubbish performance as a small forward against Carlton to see why we need more classy half forwards. Motlop would be a massive upgrade on them. Find it so funny that some supporters on here are bagging him and don't want him as if to say we have enough of his talent when clearly we don't. We are screaming for players like him. For the right price we would be mad not to look at him. 100 plus games, 25 years old who's stats this year was 38 goals and 467 disposal as a midfield/half forward.

Wouldn't be all that surprised if Jack ends up at Brisbane. They need all the leadership they can get.

If it was one player i wished that had tasted the success against the Collingwood and Hawthorn this year it would be Grimes. Unfair he missed out but unfortunately thats football and as ProDee said he just simply couldn't adjust to the speed of the game. I trully hope he does find another AFL club.
