Delistings/trades at end of the season
That is the biggest load of rubbish.. i have played State footy before and the one thing on becoming a good successful winger is having a big engine and speed. Because all day you have to be prepared to be running up and down the wings and willing to spread hard from the stoppages and be that next option out in space. You don't need to be a good overhead mark to be a successful winger because if you are smart enough and spread hard you should be out on the space taking a nice easy uncontested mark and continue to provide run.And to prove how wrong your ridiculous theory is both Jimmy Toumpas and James Aish have played 6 games each this year and Toumpas has already taken more marks then Aish already. So to me it shows he is spreading hard and getting the uncontested marks out in space. So without doing any kind of research your just trying to sink the boots into Toumpas for no particular reason just like that other Plonk Picket Fence. Massive fail again Try again.

That's because he has never got one in any of his 100 game career. I'm still waiting.

And Jack Watts has? Over 100 games and we are dtill crying out for him to win one bloody hard ball. Going by that assessment Watts sIs VFL standard only. And its obvious you don't watch Viv play at all. Go back to the Richmond game and you will see Viv win numerous of ones on ones and impact the contest hard. Viv is a good player but is getting hard done by the Selection committee. I shake my head again when Viv gets dropped after one game yet softcocks like Watts and Howe are given a fair go after weeks of horrible performance.

I think Michie and Riley add good depth until the likes of Petracca and Brayshaw really start to hit their straps.Infact personally i think Viv has been very stiff now to play alot more games this year..

This coming from the same bloke that disrespected the whole footy club by saying we should apply for a priority pick??

An absolute machine. Thought pre game who was going to stand up and fill in Tysons class and smarts around the ball. Well Vanders put his hand up and blew me away.

Wasn't having a go at you mate just stating a fact that some AFL clubs get educated on this..
-
Aaron vandenBerg
They do.They are educated on this kind of stuff now days. Every club has that couple of over obsessed fan who put their heart and soul into the club. Its basically a respect and polite manner attitude in front of these supporters.

Whilst i agree with majority of what you said i disagree about the comparison of Scully and Hogan in terms of what they see in the culture.Scully and Hogan are two miles apart from each other in terms of personality. We all know Scully was less impressed with the way some of the boys carried on getting on the turps. Scully was as intense and serious about his football as anyone. This is a guy that has never touched a single drop of alcohol. He was so footy obsessed and driven to succeed at all cost. I also heard some of his teamates didn't know how to take him as he came across as a bit weird and a loner. While we all know Hogan is a competitive beast who is also driven to succeed he is also a very laid back character. The hype and expectations doesn't seem to faze him one bit. Loves his surfing and playing Xbox in his downtime. And i know some people have seen him out and about on a weekend so i highly doubt that if the club had a culture of party boys he would leave just because of that. If he did leave (god help us all..) it would mainly be for Family and money obviously. All that Hoo Ha party stuff wouldn't faze him to be honest
