  1. Yes i was very proud of Trac for doing this.
  2. He is one hell of a player is Langdon... Keep saying it each week, his work rate is ridiculously through the roof. Can anyone think of a player we've had who's been willing to gut run every single week? Steven Tingay is the best I can think off?
  3. He played a bit more high up the field around the midfield I though. Made us look really slick and quick around the ball. This is one great example.
  4. Unfortunately yes i think we have too? Without no seconds football, its just too much on an 18 year key tall.
  5. When he's fully fit I get your drift. Again, he hasn't played for a week. He'll make 0 impact due to no match fitness under his belt. It would be a selection disaster if they picked him. Don't get me wrong, i rate Jacko very highly, but he will not be match ready.
  6. Heath Shaw only had 5 disposals for the night.. I honestly did not notice him at all tonight and its no wonder why. Usually kills us off half back.
  7. Claimed him as my boy from from the moment we drafted him. Have been saying that while all the draft hype was on Jackson and Pickett, this is is as good if not better then both. Absolute steal who i rated in the top 20.
  8. Mate, no joke my excuse back then was I was about 12 beers deep. Tonight it's been a couple of stubbies and a few glasses or Johnny Walker red. This is my 2nd strike, 3rd one and I'll have a month off the grog.
  9. Personally I like Petty forward. He's a one touch grab. Something our forwards don't do well especially Weideman.
  10. Nev its a huge risk bringing an 18 year old into a do or die clash of the year off the back of a 5 week lay off. I just for the life of me see why we need to do that. Yes we've seen the Weid/Jacko work better then most, but that's far too much of a risk for my liking.
  11. Yeah look if it wasn't for Marty Hore not being injured, we would hardly see Smith playing.
  12. No one is hyping him up Dr. He shows great traits that reminds you of the Cyrils, Betts of the world. Doesn't mean we are saying he'll be the next one of them. He'll be the next Kozzy Pickett because he he's got his own unique talent as well. But we are also entitled to celebrate the glimpses that Rivers, Pickett and Jackson have shown. The world is miserable enough as it is. Just enjoy the the small things while we can.
  13. Look he makes me nervous as [censored] eveeytime he's in a won on won situations and loses his feet far too often. But he keeps it simple unlike Omac. Still not sure if being a defender is his right position Harry sorry. I know at every center ball up from the behind the goal view, he was manning Himmelberg. There were times he was caught out with Cameron and held his own well.
  14. What brand are we drinking tonight Sir?
  15. Special mention to Joel Smith who shut down Elliot Himmelberg. Kept him to 5 disposals and 0 goals.
  16. Jesus I was hard on him last year and rightly so. But this year he's been one of the most consistent player so far. He is one hell of a footballer. Tough, takes no [censored] and a big presence. I like Gawny, but I would easily have this bloke as our captain.
  17. He'll get there. His upside is enormous, but people need to have some patience because like all small forwards early in their career, he'll have quiet games here and there. He's kicked 7.12 this year, so he's actually hitting the scoreboard. Turn half those behinds into goals and we'd be lauding what a brilliant first year he's had.
  18. Oh of course. Pickett will put in a quiet performance next week and fktards like @olisik will pop on here and demand he get delisted.
  19. We cannot simply throw an 18 year in one of the most crucial game of the year straight into the side on the back of a 5 week lay off. Stick with Weideman, he just needs to learn how to get himself out from this rut. Dropping him won't fix that. This is all part of his development into a good power forward.
  20. Yeah fair enough.
  21. Well no he had 10 pressure acts. So you're wrong. No not an Oscar fan. Been wanting him delisted since 2017. But this isn't about him.
  22. Yes for the wanting us to lose, but no for the selection comment. Tonight showed why the likes of Melksham and ANB should not be in the team. Its infuriating Melksham continues to get a game with zero defensive pressure all year. Not only that, he gives up goals through stupidity and lack of discipline. I'll cop the losing comment. Won't cop we continue to gift Melksham a game week in, week out.
  23. Cool story
  24. I don't give a sh it about that. He had 3 disposals for the whole game. He was useless.
  25. Be very surprised. I still the the Freo/Swans game are the ones that have cost us. I hate to be negative Nancy but even if we did make finals I think we'd be just making up numbers.
