  1. Yeah can see Bont absolutely going nuts..
  2. Well they're not.

Last I checked Dangerfield and Fyfe aren't great kicks..
  4. Their defence aren't trash at all.. Keith has done a really good job holding it down back as has Williams who's been playing as a tall and doing extremely well. He's the next Dane Rampe. They absolutely killed us off the rebound last year and have continued to slaughter teams with their aggressive defensive counter attack. If anything it's our forwards who have been trash. Fritsch, Melksham, Weideman have no defensive bone in them and have been crap the past couple of weeks. It'll be a great clash, but I think they have the edge over us.
  5. I'm more [censored] off our local footy got canned for the week up here on the border region then I care for tonight's game.. Tonight's game is a bit meh for me.
  6. Yeah no, we wouldn't. There's a huge difference between a senior player that's about to play 200 games and is currently adding 0 input to the side, to a 19-21 who's trying to establish himself into AFL footy. Not hard to work it out really.
  7. Another player about to hit that 100 game mark. I reckon we'll see his best footy start to come out in the next 12-18 months
  8. Can someone PM article. Paywall
  9. It's come back negative. All good to go. AFL COVID live blog: Sigh of relief as exposed Demon reportedly tests negative
  10. Game officially going ahead. https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-news-2021-covid19-victoria-outbreak-greater-melbourne-case-numbers-coronavirus-afl-fixture-round-11/news-story/2b24ef7145f0f549a32eab4c91c215e1
  11. Amazing how some just get a free run at it each week..... Truly bizarre.
  12. Because if it does come back as positive then that player will feel like absolute [censored] that he's put the game on hold. Even if it's a negative result he still doesn't need to be named. Probably feeling enough guilt as it is.
  13. Game looking like it's getting postponed according to FiveA SA
  14. With the mid season draft approaching next Wednesday, we're starting to hear what players are linked to clubs now. Haven't heard any names linked to Melbourne yet, but would think a tall solid back man and mature midfield depth such as a Freeman or Sam Fisher from the wafl would be looked at. With Viney unable to get on the pick I think this will be something looked potentially. Maybe a wingman as well?

  16. Viney is not fit as already discussed on this thread. Still 3 weeks away.

Maybe the AFL can just give us the 4 points after initially taking it away from us last week.

Isn't it usually 2 days prior? Meaning that it will be on tomorrow?

Club had a light run yesterday and were doing ball skills etc. Salem was restricted to jogging laps it seems.

    Groin.
  21. Amazing effort
  22. His size and strength is at an exceptional for his age. Holds his ground really well in marking contests. Would easily outbody Weightman and has the speed to stay with him.
  23. Fristch puts in another [censored] poor performance like that then he absolutely comes under heat.
  24. I like this doggies supporter because he is spot on. Unfortunately the Weideman/McDonald did not work at all. First time this year where our forward functioning was poor. Does that come down to not having Ben Brown there drawing two defender which releases Fritsch or McDonald? Could be. The Melksham comment is spot on again. Why the actual [censored] we brought Melksham in will go down as this year's biggest selection blunder. Not only does he add legit nothing to the team but we are taking away more defensive pressure by having both Melksham and Fritsch playing in the same team. No coincidence that our forward pressure was at its best when Sparrow was also rotating through there, but also applying manic tackling pressure.
