  1. Makes sense.
  2. I know right.. he's embarrassing with some of his comments. Needs to kick 25 goals this year to justify his place in the team but the bloke who's a plodder that finishes 13th in the best and fairest in his 4th year of AFL football gets a pass mark. Typical @Dr.D style though. Even if Picketts kicks 50 goals this year he won't admit it. It'll hurt him too much to admit how wrong he already is.
  3. You're now just making up excuses.
  4. You didn't answer my question. Where did they both finish In the BnF last year?
  5. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/low-key-return-planned-for-majak-daw-as-demons-identify-round-one-smoky-20210303-p577jb.html?fbclid=IwAR0rfg1JY-8F-oEMVw5Qcaj2CwTzwcSP2T4LWRrW8kz3tx6RJcC-Z6ZVh9M He has trained well but remains unlikely to be match ready in the early rounds of the season although Melbourne will look to give Daw some game time on Monday provided he gets through training this week without any hiccup. The deadline for the supplemental selection period (SSP) is Tuesday March 9 and although the club is happy with his progress to date, it’s unlikely they would make a decision before then.
  6. Talks about Majak Daw and also James Jordon being In line for a round 1 debut. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/low-key-return-planned-for-majak-daw-as-demons-identify-round-one-smoky-20210303-p577jb.html?fbclid=IwAR0rfg1JY-8F-oEMVw5Qcaj2CwTzwcSP2T4LWRrW8kz3tx6RJcC-Z6ZVh9M
  7. Hibberds barely done a pre season. Won't be ready for round 1.
  8. Gun Dee in uphill battle, Goody's heartbreaking chat to ACL victim Goody speaks about Gus and Viney availability and also Kozzy as well. Brayshaw to start playing VFL and Viney touch and go for round 1. Looks like Kozzy will come straight back into the side in round 1. Shows how highly rated he is by the coaches.
  9. Kysaiah Pickett is also expected to feature in that round one clash against Fremantle, with the exciting small forward to return to Victoria on Sunday having flown to Perth last month for a family bereavement. "Kysaiah will be back Sunday from Perth. Obviously, it's really tragic circumstances with his mother. He's been doing a lot of training away from the footy club, with some help over there from some people that are specialists. We're really confident that 'Kozzy' will be up and available for round one." Good to see the experts rate kozzy highly enough to let him slide straight into our round 1 side on the back of missing a month of AFL training hey Doc..
  10. LOL so he played 18 games in 2017 and didn't finish top 10 in the best and fairest in a team that didn't play finals. Played 23 games in 2018 and was worse by finishing 13th. That on average is a poor finish by someone that played all year. Again proving how silly you look here. Finishing 11th and 13th in a best and fairest is not something to be proud of. Me like many other on here see great potential in Kozzie because he showed talent in his first year of AFL football on the back of a season where there was basically no VFL team to develope and living in a suitcase. If you want to go back on best and fairest results, where Alex Neal Bullen finish in 2019 and 2020?? In fact between Kozzie and ANB where did they both finish last year on comparable?
  11. So many things wrong about this post that again you need to be called out once again. This also proves time and time again your lack of footy judgement and knowledgeable I find it bizarre that you continue to pot a first year player in Kozzy Pickett, yet more then willing to accept a plodder in Alex Neal Bullen the benefit of the doubt. He is a average player who like Oscar McDonald has been gifted far too many games time and time over the journey, and one of the key reason we've been an average side of the last few years because we continue to carry average plodders like ANB and Oscar. It's only last year that Goodwin finally woke up to Oscar, hopefully he'll wake up to ANB. And for your information, ANB did not play midfield back in 2017. This was the year Goodwin played him in that high half forward role. You're making up stuff just for the sake of it and have the stats and proof to provide that further. At the end of the year I expect the likes of Bailey Laurie, Charlie Spargo and Kade Chandler to go straight past ANB because that will mean we've improved further as a team. I didn't name Kozzy because he's already sped straight past him as a player.
  12. Moves extremely well for a tall fella.
  13. Some footage highlights as well.
  14. A few more information. https://wyndham.starweekly.com.au/sport/kye-declase-shows-his-class/ https://www.werribeefc.com.au/football/player-profiles/item/15-kye-declase
  15. Well you sir are a sad man if you think that's the case with 1st round draftees.
  16. Exactly what we need... How accurate is your source?
  17. Awful awful news.
  18. He was a first year player.. Temper your expectations mate.
  19. Does he? If he has 'serious talent then he'd be on a list by now. A 'serious talent' does not get overlooked in a national and rookie draft, then get overlooked by a father son club in Freo as well.
  20. Didn't seem to faze Maurice Rioli Junior.
  21. What's the go with this? You posted this two weeks ago, Tim Lamb on the weekend said none of the 3 players who are training with us have been offered a spot as of yet and a decision is still yet to be made. After watching Farmer on the weekend I would completely shocked if he made the list. Looked a long way off it.
  22. Hes doing his own training and also training with a SANFL club. But he's way off AFL training fitness and will need a couple of weeks to get up to standard. He's been away from the club for over a month now. His mums funeral is not until the 5th of March which is a Friday. First game is not until the 20th. He won't be ready for round 1. Chandler and Spargo are ahead of him as it stands and rightly so.
  23. Watched all games yesterday and here is my positives and negatives. Positives - Our ball movement at times looked very quick and slick when we pulled it off. I thought Jayden Hunt and Christian Salem were the two who really drove this off half back. I'm really excited to see Hunt speeding off half back and opening up the game. - Max Gawn is ready to go a level up. The Jackson/Gawn combo up forward will change the dynamic of a our forward line while Brown is out. Such a captains game yesterday by the big man. - Now that's the Jake Lever we like to see! Marked everything that came his way and actually looks like he's put on a bit of size as well. Reads it extremely well. - Chandler has certainly thrown himself into round 1 calculations. Put in another performance like against the doggies and now doubt he'll pick himself for round 1. The Spargo/Chandler combo was exciting in terms of defensive pressure. Can't wait to add Pickett to the fold. - Petracca and Oliver. No words needed, they're simply stars now and ready for another big year. - I was quite critical of Jones early but I thought he got better as the game wore on and at times was calm with his ball use. - Jake Bowey and Bailey Laurie. There are some serious serious class and poise with these two kids. Bowey's run and drive off half back and then his ability to just hit basically every target was very impressive for an 18 year old. Looked like 100 gamer already. He's ready for AFL football and I'll be shocked if he's not playing against the doggies next week. Laurie is a beautifully balanced and calm footballer. His hands around the stoppages and contest were clean and quick, and just waits his kicks like Bowey. Both boys are going to add some serious class and outside dash to our current line up very soon and can see them making an instant impact straight away. - Harrison Petty was BOG for me in the B game alongside Bowey and Laurie. He easily would have had over 10 marks, 7 of them intercepts down back. Really impressed with his game and if the coaches were smart enough they'd be playing him next week against the doggies instead of Tomlinson who was just pretty poor yesterday. Special mention to Tom Sparrow who I thought played well and showed courage in defence by taking a strong grab and got crunched as well. Negatives - Ball use was pretty poor at times but I put that down to it being our first scratch match. Happens everywhere. - Jetta was poor. Why on he he was playing on the likes of Reiwoldt and Lynch up the ground has me beat.. watching young Bowey carve it up yesterday makes me think it won't be long until we see him taking his spot soon. I live Jetta but he's way too slow now. - For someone who is as big as Tomlinson, he's incredibly soft one on one. Beaten throughout the day and on form Petty is miles ahead for that 3rd tall option. I was glad to hear Richo say that Simon Goodwin loves Petty, because that should all confirm he plays next week against the doggies instead of Tommo - Harmes was far too sloppy. Again tried to give don't argues and made himself look like a complete [censored] but getting tackled in return. Honestly dont know what to make of him currently. On yesterday's form I'd have Sparrow instead. - Lockhart was also disappointing. Wanted to see him stake a claim for Jetta's spot but he was just poor and sloppy. -Bradke, 21 year old who still looks and plays like a gangly giraffe 17 year old kid. I know the delivery wasn't much chop in the B game, but when the ball hit the ground he was barely seen. A true definition of a list clogger. - Yeah look Farmer won't be getting a spot on our list. His ball use is very poor and times was just walking to contests. Dont think he hit a target all day except for the goal he kicked. Spend a year at Casey or at under 19 level and I'm sure that will benefit his development more. Was disappointed that Deakyn wasn't playing. Supposedly he's been far more impressive on the training track than Farmer. Overall it was a solid hitout and thought the longer quarters suited our running ability far more then the tigers. Coaches would have taken a lot out of that and I was pleased to see our young kids in Rivers, Jackson, Sparrow, Bowey, Laurie and Petty all contribute well again.
  24. Luca Goonan certainly stood out as did Tom Freeman across half back.
