Looking at the radar is looks like there will be a fair bit of run hitting towards the start of the game.

Just to get some facts correct. The players did not wake up at 3am last week to travel to the airport. It was only Max Gawn who had to get up that early as he lives in Blairgowrie. Blairgowrie to melbourne airport is 1hr 50min drive.

This is my general assessment of what I think of tonight's game and I hope I'm wrong. First time this year I saw signs last week that a few of our players looked tired and flat. I actually don't think it's the physical aspect, but more mental. Mental in terms of sustaining the momentum we have. Players from successfull clubs have been on record to say that it's very difficult in maintaining that mental grind from week to week. Considering this is all new territory for the Demons, I think we'll drop our guard in the next few weeks. Teams will now hunt us physically and Sydney are a great side in not only being physical at the contest but grinding games out mentally. Unfortunately I think tonight will be our first loss of the year and to be honest it's probably not a bad thing to just reset a little. I'd rather a loss tonight then Carlton or Adelaide in the next two weeks. I hope I'm wrong.

My god how is Melksham still in.. If there is a one blight on this season it's Goodwin continuing to play his best mate week in week out. Harmes in is a joke in itself.

The Fox sport commentator ones aren't too bad. Garry Lyon is good on SEN as well. In fact he's the only segment I listen to along with Watson. Leigh Montagna is not bad either. He's been pumping up as a genuine premiership contender since round 3 when the likes of David King laughed at him.

No he wasn't. He was poor all pre season and poor again against Fremantle. Not only that his game against North last week selfish, lazy and poor. I'm disappointed to hear that Sparrow has been left out in the expense of Harmes. Sparrow was a CLEAR best on ground by an absolute mile.

Theres been times where I have watched footy classified and she's been bullied on that show due to her going against the grain that is the boys club mentality. I like that she doesn't back down and people would be surprised to learn that she has some really good contacts within clubs that actually trust her. Say what you want, but she's a fine journalist.

I think they were organised mostly through demonland but use to have a few blow ins from Demonology who would also suit up. Really great fun.

He was.a regular on bigfooty. The while being drafted thing was the funniest stitch up! A lot fell for it too.

Surprised no one has me mentioned the great Yze_Magic.. My god he was a character. Had a serious man couch on Colin Sylvia when he was drafted.

Rollo popped on here out of nowhere about a month ago and had stated that I think he's in an old folks home. I tried to start up further conversation just to see how he was tracking but didn't get a response. Rollo was a highly respected member years ago. He alongside @Whispering_Jack were big organisers in the Forum Footy against other internet club forums. Rollo use to live in wangaratta where I also lived and we had many great discussion about footy and life I general. I hope he is going well still.
