  1. Unfortunately for Tomlinson he's depth now and will only get a spot if there is an injury to either May or Petty. Whilst I think Tomlinson hasn't done much wrong in the past few weeks he is still looks underdone and his turning circle is fairly slow. Petty just picked up from where he left off last year and it's going to be extremely hard for the likes of Smith and Tomlinson to get a gig now.
  2. Hmm not sure about that. He went nuts when he shepherd that Tom Sparrow goal in last year's grand final. His body language when he missed that goal late in the game showed a guy that's completely bereft of confidence.
  3. That's was an elite performance all round and really fun to sit back with a couple of beers and not once feel stressed about tonight. It was fun. Harrison Petty just proved tonight how bloody important he is to our back six. We have missed him severely and now I'm at ease with our back six group. Tom Sparrow and Charlie Spargo really stood up tonight and contributed well. Liked their games. Bring on the tigs
  4. Brown in and Weid out.
  5. Holy smokes that was crazy by Sparrow
  6. Weideman and McDonald are absolutely pox. Sooner Brown is in the better.
  7. Not sure. But he's more forward then midfielder.
  8. Is currently with the under 16's Oakleigh Chargers team and played alongside another father son prospect in Kynan Brown last week against Sandy Dragons. One to watch.
  9. Ryan Koo is a former NGA prospect for the Dees. Though, I'm pretty sure he's still eligible even though he finished up at Dandenong Stingrays last year.
  10. Based on...?
  11. Great to have another premiership defender back in the team and a fantastic player too. And please, no more small forwards as subs.
  12. I was in the boat of just playing Petracca forward for majority of the game but now I think he needs to be rested. This is the same knee that he did the ACL and I think we just need to give him a rest and back out depth and also the likes of Oliver, Viney etc to solider on. I want a fit Petracca for the reminder of the year and if it means taking a week or 2 off then so be it. We brought in Dunstan for this exact reason so let's see what he has to offer.
  13. Not it's not just you. I tried to watch it the other night and it had no sound as well.
  14. Alternated between mid, forward and back. Jason Taylor seems to think his best position was on a wing. Someone of his versatility could become a real handful once he is able to get some size and experience into him. Cameron Bruce is who I think of in regards to Howes with his versatility.
  15. Yep, that's all there is to this. Get better with each game, gain some experience and then who knows in the 2nd half of the year what senior opportunities may present for him.
  16. He's listed at 194cm tall so you would think he's similar to like a Joel Smith/Marty Hore type?
  17. I didn't watch GWS game but is it true Whitfield buckled his knee during the game and is in some doubt?
  18. The mighty Hoppers.
  19. I agree also. I am in no way trying to shame Ben and I hope it doesn't come across as such If you see my above post I think from all reports Brown was targeted to off the ball tactics and in that case it's meant he retaliated. Exact what Williamstown wanted. Umpires have a duty of care on the night in making sure this off the ball stuff doesn't happen. It's a complete disgrace that they failed in their duty of care for Ben.
  20. Does it really matter? Both deserves suspensions. Imo they were far too kind to Preuss
  21. And in fairness to Brown it sounds he was targeted off the ball all night. If that's the case then it's the umpires duty of care in looking after Ben and they failed miserably once again.
  22. Because you can't elbow a bloke to the head area. Regardless of what people think he deserves the 2 weeks. The AFL are trying to stamp out this behind the play stuff. If he's had a delay concussion out of this then it justifies a suspension. Braydon Pruess copped the same suspension for his exact same act. The head area is sacred. Pretty simple.
  23. Yes, hence why the system is a rort..
  24. With GWS going in with the respected tagger in Matt De boer I think it's fair to say he'll go straight to Petracca without doubt. I do wonder whether Luke Dunstan will come under consideration to come in to play some decent midfield time while Petracca may spend a little bit more time up forward and expose De boer and break the tag in a more meaningful way. We know the impact Petracca can have up forward and one on one he can beat just about anyone in the comp. Tom Sparrow as much as I like him as a player hasn't exactly set the world on fire even though I know he's playing a support role.
  25. Jesse Hogan from watching him Round 1 of the VFL
