Interesting to see Samson Ryan debut for the Tigers. Ryan was a project raw player who is as skinny as they come but at a good height at 206cm tall. He's gotten a game based on strong VFL form and also playing intra club games thr past few weeks Meanwhile we have Austin Bradke who's been on our list for 3 years and shown absolutely SFA and probably close to the worst player I've seen on our list since Brendan Van Shaik.

That team alone would beat Mark Neeld 2013 side.

To be honest Max needs to lift. He's been poor this year and I watched young Sam Draper last week who was very very impressive. I have more concerns around Max then I do with their rucks. Draper is a huge ruckman who loves the physical side. Something Max doesn't like.

Not sure I'd stick Viney on a run with role considering he's missed 8 weeks. Essendon would take advantage of that and blow him up. Also can't see why we can't just back our mids in instead of having to tag Parish and Merrett at the same time? If a Oliver or Petracca is standing next him, I'm putting money on their sheer size and strength in being able to use that as an advantage. Essendon will be much more wary our midfield if anything.

I would happily say yes to the first 3 except Petruccelle. He's a Sam Blease mk 2. Barely finds the footy and even when he does, he sprints so quick that he just butchers the footy straight to the opposition.

Just a gut feel of yours or will this be the confirmed changes? You have great track record so just curious more then anything.

No one has questioned the clubs doubt in Sam. People question whether Sam has what it takes to take the next next. From a football term, I think he's mentally fragile who's struggling hard with expectations. Does he have the mentality strength in overcoming these challenges? I have serious doubts. Right now only time will tell.
