  1. For the love of God please no more ex basketball athletes turned football wannabes.. I'm sick of the Bradtkes and Farris-Whites that have zero Footy IQ clogging up our list. Get a proper young ruckman through any junior talent level whether that's through Coates League or WAFL Colts and just let them be footballers first and foremost. I'm hoping we're looking closely at Joe Pike from the Geelong Falcons or Jordan Doherty from Dandenong Stingrays if we're looking at developing rucks later on in the draft. Honestly, all the best to KFW and whatever he chooses to pursue moving forward. Thanks for your efforts.
  2. Sam Edmund Adam Tomlinson “Set to leave Melbourne as an unrestricted free agent. Wants more opportunity. Just wants to play. Is St Kilda the home as his third club?”
  3. Requested the trade to Gold Coast.
  4. Always tough time notifying players that they won't be receiving contracts. Beauty about it is that they would have been getting some good communication (I hope) around where they stood and they'd know deep down that they wouldn't be getting contract especially when you're still struggling at suburban level. Knowing his personality, wouldn't surprise me to see Schache back playing for Seymour in the GV league next year with his mates.
  5. Whately and Kingy have hit the nail on the head with this one.
  6. Gross. Leave me out of this one please.
  7. Sam Lalor is the type of midfield talent you can build a team around. Tough, aggressive and ability to score when resting up forward. Lalor adds some much needed midfield talent and depth.
  8. So that's where you learn your lessons and don't follow it up by picking the Zak Jones of the world. He's an absolute potato and a [censored] bloke to go with as well. Pass.
  9. Zak Jones as a trade target... now I've seen it all Vomit
  10. Speaking of #5 but did the Petracca thread get deleted??
  11. Murphy Reid has a lot of Zak Butters traits that are certainly appealing.
  12. Thanks for the update J.
  13. Also, I can guarantee there would have been Melbourne recruiters watching the Dandenong vs Gippsland power game yesterday. Not only have both teams got Melbourne NGA kids playing in Mentha, Andrew, Ah-Mu and Prasad, but top end talent in Cooper Hynes and Harvey Langford. Langfords stocks are certainly rising so I have no doubt he's be right on our radar come pick 5/6. Honestly would be another that the club would like. Nothing are bid bodied midfield bulls who would certainly add much needed talent and depth. Though, I think Hynes would probably more likely be in the teams whereas Langford is certainly a top 10 prospect.
  14. Both Riak and Mentha have at least had one nomination to attend the state combine draft. I actually wouldn't be surprised if that was the Dees nominating both lads. Riak Andrew would add further depth and development down back and whilst he is still pretty raw, he's got the athletic build similar to his brother. Mentha is proving his versatility playing down back as this is a big mantra of Jason Taylor and Simon Goodwin when it come to recruiting. Hes always been pigeoned hole as a small forward but seems hes having success as a running half back. im pretty sure we'll gave the rookie spot to fit both on our list come November. Though I believe Noah Yze didn't get an invite to the draft combine which to me doesn't come as a great deal of a surprise. I've seen nothing that stands out to me in terms of having AFL weapons that could step up to elite level. His form in the Coates League level has been so so. On another note, Tarion Ah-Mu just continues to excite me.. The kid is a monster and he kicked another 3 goals yesterday which takes his tally to 18 from just 8 games.
  15. It won't happen. Port want two first round picks including this year. That's there starting point.
  16. We currently hold pick 6 thanks to Gold Coast. Keep it dees and get a 12 year gun midfielder.
  17. Tim Lamb and Alan Richardson are both recipe for disaster for this footy club.
  18. Showed more intent and willingness then say Bayley Fritsch who could not look more disinterested and lazy as the night went on.
  19. @Demon Dynasty @layzie Take care the both of you. Times are certainly tough and I deal with these issue on a day to day basis as part of my line of work. My DM is always open if in need of a chat.
  20. It's all about him really. Jon Ralph was right on first crack tonight. When we're attempting to recruit players to the club they're legitimately turning away due to the Trac issue and obviously his silence. It's no wonder some of the players wouldn't have issue if he did in fact leave because they know its always been about him and his brand. The Melbourne Football Club isn't high on Petracca priority list.
  21. Thank [censored] thats over.
