Said this in another thread, but I would absolutely go after him without hesitation. He's a bull of a player and would add a bit of spunk and X factor to our forward half.

Even after the Oliver out on Thursday night team selection I was relatively still confident. But then having thought it through deeper I reckon the loss of Petty is significant. MFCSS kicking in for me and now not so confident..

We haven't fixed it all year and there no way we're fixing or with 6 games to go.

All my criticism is purely about his football ability and more so on the coaching staff more then anything You come flying in on your high horse everytime someone on here has anything negative to say. If you can't hack what's written on here half the time then best advise would be to deactivate your account.

You blokes are so blinded by the fact Melksham barely gets the ball himself. His last 2 games at AFL level he's had a total of... *checks notes*... 3 kicks. That's right, 3 [censored] kicks for 2 whole games. If he's not getting the ball, then he's a training cone out on the field. Pure and simple.

Yes he is lol. He's been cooked since 2020. Why we continue to reward a bloke that's well past it and barely has any impact at AFL level for the past 2 years just shows why Goodwin is still incredibly stubborn. It sends a poor message to the blokes like Chandler and Laurie who have continued to bang the door down week in week out at VFL level with not even a sniff of being named an emergency. Melksham should not at all be part of any future team selection unless we are decimated with injuries. He's not part of our future plans moving forward and it's completely worthless that we are wasting games on a cooked 31 year old instead of seeing what Chandler has to offer at AFL level if given the same opportunity of games similar to what they've done with Bedford.
