CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Probably too late in the year to make the switch up forward. If they're gonna consider it for next year then they'll need to train him with the forwards group all pre season so that he's got the structure down pat.

POSTGAME : Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
Bedford only had 66% game time. That's very low time on ground to play a defensive role LH. Demonland has a habit of always looking for little excuses on a player's form. Doesn't hurt to accept that he was just plain ordinary on the day and was way off it. Bedford isn't a big ball winner even at VFL level. The numbers of those stats are evident. When you aren't a big ball winner at VFL level there's a fair you ain't going to get a lot of the ball at AFL level either. Even at junior level he wasn't a big ball winner. Burst player who can kick quick goals in quarters.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KYSAIAH KROPINYERI PICKETT
Only thing that stopped Jeff Farmer from being one of the absolute great forward pockets of the game was him passing off to Freo. Was never the same player.

Sometimes you just have a day where everything just falls into place. His form has been building for a few weeks now.

The Run Home
I'm probably more confident beating Freo in Perth then I am with the doggies this week for some unknown reason.

Farewell Luke Jackson
It just got even more absurd..

Yze to coach GWS?
It was sarcasm, hence the wishful thinking with the gif. Bucks fits well into the media now days and I enjoy his insights and game day analysis o. Fox Footy.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KYSAIAH KROPINYERI PICKETT
Was one of the best individual displays I've seen alongside Gawns 5 in a preliminary. I'll continue to pump up this kid as long as i want, but his numbers right now against some of the best small forwards I've seen such as Betts, Milne, C Rioli blows them out of the water at similar age. Jeff Farmer was my absolutely hero growing up and never thought I'd ever see another one as unique as he was. But these highlights below just gives me flashbacks. Scary to think he's only just turned 21..

Fritsch copping it in the media again.. and rightfully so. https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/teams/melbourne-demons/afl-news-2022-bayley-fritsch-ignoring-teammates-selfish-doesnt-kick-it-to-charlie-spargo-video-melbourne-demons-win-over-port-adelaide-power/news-story/7f2541db16c827aed12272613e82834a

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
If Lever needs the week off, then we give him the week off. Simply need everyone cherry ripe for September.

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
I agree with Tomlinson. It was like watching him play just before he did his knee last year. But who goes out for Petty? Melksham was horrible. Let others on here fool you into thinking otherwise. He's an immediate out next week.

POSTGAME : Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
Rivers was good. Said in another thread that with his size and strength he doesn't get pushed off the ball due to body size unlike Bowey. This is no criticism of Bowey BTW who I think has been exceptional, but Geelongs body strength last week just got to overwhelming for him. Another pre season and he'll be fine. For me Rivers stays in the team for the rest of the year. When he's up and about he gives us good drive and hardness off half back.

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
I've accepted that he won't even get a sniff this year. Trust me, he'd be my first preference but Goody for some unknown reason is not willing to give the kids a go this year.

POSTGAME : Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
Just quietly, Michael Hibberd may be playing himself to another year on the list. Really has barely put a foot wrong since he has come into the side and has done some good shut down roles. Did the job on Robbie Grey today who had little influence up forward. It was only when Grey had to go into the midfield then that's where he had more influence.

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Yeah Rivers was fine. He really does crack in and because of his body size he doesn't get pushed off the ball unlike Bowey. He stays in for me and takes Weightman. I'm a big Bowey fan but felt body strength of Geelong was too overwhelming for him. Would like to see him push up to a wing or half forward which is his more natural position.

Greg Stafford - Forward Coach?
Kozzie says 'Cheers Staff'

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
He'll never get dropped because he's a protected species but Tom Sparrow was absolutely woeful once again. Butchered the footy and continued to either [censored] our transition chains up or give the footy directly back to a Port Adelaide player. Started the game straight into the centre circle and was the obvious Oliver replacement. But 18 disposal going at 44% efficiency is simply a poor performance today.

POSTGAME : Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
I just wanted the win. Don't care how ugly it was. We needed it to stay within the top 2 area. There was patches throughout the game where we were very ordinary. Disappointing last 5 minutes, but um still taking the win. Kozzie Pickett is now one of the genuine elite small forwards in the game. [censored] freak..

I do like the commentary on having the extra tall. Definitely agree with this as it takes load off Brown and Fritsch. Maybe Weid comes in for Melksham.?

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
In: Oliver, Chandler/Bowey Out: Bedford, Melksham. Tomlinson was exceptional today. Would be incredibly stiff to be dropped. But Petty has to come in somehow.
