GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
That's a shocker by Schmook.. Doing some research wouldn't hurt once in a while.

Their talls also slaughtered us last time. Winning the ground ball will be critical tonight.

Don't know why, but I'm more confident tonight then I have the most in the past 4 weeks. I reckon Viney will be the one who sets the tone tonight.

GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Thought I'd randomly check weather radar. Wet deck on a dodgy ground that recently had turf changed. What could go wrong.

Mac Andrew
Good luck to the lad. I do giggle at some of the comments written on here having trawled back. Some were fairly certain that he would; 1. Not play an AFL game in his 1st or 2nd year of footy due to how skinny he was. 2. Certainty to head back to Victoria after his contract is up. Well he's now proven a few doubters on here wrong by making his debut and signing a contract extension. Who would have thought.

Trade and Free Agency rumours
Some interesting names have popped up. Jason Johannison is reportedly put off contract talks at the end of the year and most likely on the move. Could be a cheap option for some outside speed and class. Darcy Gardiner is a 26 year old defender who could take Petty's if we're potentially looking at moving him forward going into next year. Also wouldn't be surprised if we end up shopping James Harmes at the end of the year. Still 3 years to go on his 5 year contract that he signed back in 2019. So whether ths club wants to clear some extra cap space on top of Jackson potentially leaving.

TEAMS: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Poor Chandler.. Dead set best in form player at Casey who are 15-0, and yet still can't get a crack against blokes who've have been dead set ordinary for 6 weeks.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Ruckman. A potential to be an elite A grade ruckman that is. His forward craft still needs significant work and it'll come with improvement, but it's his ruckwork that will set him apart.

Good work @Dwight Schrute I got excited when you broke the news then a little sheepish when i heard him speak on SEN. Threw your gonards on the line and came out on top 👏

In Season - Loading/Periodisation: Put your conjecture here.
Stop talking sense, it does not belong in this thread. According to some on here we've been loading the moment we lost to Freo.

Can someone who can open this give a brief summary?

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
This backs up what @goodwindees was saying on here the other day wanting a lofty contract with more midfield time. What it also shows that the rumours on here of him signing a new contract with an announcement this week is completely out of wack.

Summary?

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
Yes and no Jaded. He has every right to look at what's best for his future from a playing perspective but also financial. If he wants to financially set himself up well leading to life after footy then he has every right too. Gus has a sharp business mind and this is his last opportunity to cash in to set himself up. Again, what's the issue with that? If it's not with us then he'll certainly find that at another club. I don't even see Gus as a money hungry grub as some might say. As he said on SEN, this will be his last big contract deal he'll get, so all he's doing is doing his absolute due diligence in making that it'll benefit him well moving forward.
