  1. Regarding Windsor, no reason why he cannot emulate the same similar year to Ollie Hollands from the blues. Though, Hollands biggest strength is his very elite endurance and work rate. He is a state cross country runner just to prove how good he is at this levelm I'm not entirely sure where Windsor stacks up in terms of endurance levels etc, but going off his under 18's footage, he seems to have a high work rate which will hold him in good stead. Interestingly, both drafted pretty much the same height and weight. Hollands had a great first year and played a crucial last quarter in their defeat against us in the final. It may seem like huge expectations being placed on the kid, but I honestly can't see Hunter being a regular 22 anymore and think he'll start to get overworked by quicker and more pacey wingers such that are coming through the competition. Certainly think there is an opportunity there for Windsor if he can grab it with both hands.
  2. Tomo has never played back up ruck for us. When he was recruited to the club, he was trialled as a wingman to little success and then transitioned into defence where he has remained since. I was hoping last year that they would have swung Tomlinson forward in the finals series instead of a cooked McDonald. Some don't realise but Tomlinson was a gun CHF at junior level due to his high work rate and endurance level. Even when he started at AFL level he showed some good signs as a high CHF who could run both ways and blow up his defenders. Tomlinson was fit at the time and felt that maybe that could have added some unpredictability going forward instead of McDonald who was absolutely useless.
  3. Is it true Jed Adams played up forward instead of defence?
  4. Legends.. 👏 If anyone can find out what's up with Jefferson, that would be great. Bit concerning he's been in rehab for a number of weeks now.
  5. Unlike Tmac who's actually been training pretty strongly this pre season without any hiccups, Brown has spent majority of the time in rehab.. especially after christmas where he hasnt joined in any full training, that's even going off your own training reports as well. Not sure whether thats just your bias getting the better of you and I've certainly haven't been a fan of Tmacs form over the past few years, based on training form and durability, McDonald has been excellent where as Brown has struggled.
  6. Look, I have a huge soft spot for Benny B and love the way he conducts himself off field especially with his work within the community (nominated for Jim Stynes award). From an on field perspective, I wish he retired on his own terms last year and I know that there was certainly talk between the club and his management. I get that he is contracted for another year, but I'm sure the club and Brown would have come up with an agreement on a settlement deal for a payout on his last contract (very common in today's AFL caper). I'm just amazed Brown did not see the writing on the wall with his body constantly breaking down due to his knees. It was a sad sight in his last game against the Crows last year where he hobbled around like a guy with a 60 year body who could barely bend over and pick up the footy. He was getting the bronx cheers all day until he got subbed off. I thought by then that was the last we'd had seen from him. I have now lost count the amount of knee surgeries he has had since he has been at the footy club. Not only that, he hasn't played a full AFL season since 2019 which was 5 years ago.. I just wondered whether had he retired, that would have given us a great opportunity to use that list spot on another developing tall forward or another developing/mature ruck. Right now, I would have been happy having a young key tall developing away at Casey playing games and gaining some quality experience then a guy that's going to be on the injury list for probably half the year. I also understand that there is the off field perspective in helping out, but we honestly have enough senior heads in that position to do that lead by Greg Stafford and then followed by the likes of Melksham, Petty, McDonald, Gawn, Lever who would be providing just as much support as what Brown would. Wishing him all the best in his recovery and at least he goes down as a 2021 premiership hero and life member of the footy club.
  7. Well, here we go again with Benny B.. Ben Brown has undergone knee surgery
  8. Of course Drysdale Demon has to face palm a comment that's clearly a sarcastic response.. just another day where anything and everything offends this fella. Can't wait for the reports @Bleasey as that @Gawndy the Great , us folks certainly appreciate the time and effort, especially making the trek out to Casey.
  9. Hope you're reading this Alan Richardson..
  10. How were our back up rucks in Will Verrall and KFW?
  11. How did Woewodin go in the match sims?
  12. Hey @Six6Six, great work on the photos. Just wondering, the videos play up every now and then and will randomly stop. Anyway we can view them just as a gallery itself instead of a video slideshow?
  13. Ox young boy Cooper, has gone down the basketball path and is not pursuing footy.
  14. Thanks for the report @picket fence.. certainly appreciated for the likes of myself who live in a different state and can't attend. I'm interested around your comment with Josh Schache? Does he playing the roaming CHF role using his high endurance levels or is he poaitioned as as the stay at home forward? Then obviously playing as the 2nd ruck role as well which we'll need for Max. Also, how was Ollie Sestan during that session?
  15. For a club that is an absolute rabble on field, they've got this media stuff down pat compared to a team that's finished top 4 three years in a row and with 70k fan base.. Thought I'd do a random stop by and see if other clubs were doing similar to North. First one I checked out was Freo and this is what they had up on their website. Well worth a look @12345_54321 https://www.fremantlefc.com.au/news/1482129/three-things-we-saw-wing-spot-heating-up It's no doubt we really are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to this stuff.
