  1. Tiny crowd…let’s hope it’s a decent match for those of us who have shown up…
  2. Its just his opinion, doesn't actually have any bearing on how we will go in 2025.....
  3. Feel like we will do OK this week be much more competitive than last....not sure we will win but should be up for the fight
  4. I always go unless I am on the verge of death from the flu or something, so I will be there Sat night - last week just sat there with that bemused look on my face, not a lot to cheer about so hoping its a little better than that at least!
  5. Im going but not sure I am going to have an enjoyable night....I think Dogs by about 25-35 (hope Im wrong though!)
  6. Disappointing night we played pretty well but their run and class linking up across the ground was a bit too good….i don’t think we are that far off being a finals side again though
  7. We looked so good in the wet against Essendon I think it will actually help us tonight
  8. “Interesting” selection to say the least…perhaps someone smarter than me can explain why going in with no ruckman is a good idea!?
  9. I think we all knew this would happen at some point this season…surely the club had a plan when our 32 year old skipper who plays 90% ruck isn’t available for a couple of weeks?
  10. Enjoyed that, future looks good with our youth, shame JVR missed a couple of easy set shots but all in all a very positive day. Can see the want to take the game on and better ball movement slowly coming together now
  11. The G looks great hope a few more supporters turn up!
  12. This except replace the 4th Essendon with Carlton
  13. I’d take that would be nice to have a relaxing day at the footy, the old heart isn’t the best and those nailbiters probably subtract a week from my life every time
  14. Pies Dogs and Suns done us a favour by losing, we just have to secure a win today to revive the season….I think we will get it done by about 25 points
  15. Looking at the two sides West Coast are not much less experienced than we are....you'd think a bottom team would be playing all kids but the Eagles have plenty of veterans - just not performing consistently anymore.
  16. I'll take a 1 point win (butt clenching as that would be) at this point....I just cant see us dominating anyone the way we are travelling at the moment
  17. Might give watching this one a miss to be honest…I go to every game live in Vic but for whatever reason just get too stressed out off the TV
  18. Would love to us play with a bit more run and flair, I know opening up the game hasn’t worked well this season but our stagnant ball movement is so frustrating to watch, especially in the 4th where we just looked terrified to take the game on at all. The only time we’ve really looked fluent this season is in the practice game against Carlton and rd 1 vs the Dogs apart from that it’s been a struggle…that said i still enjoy getting to the G and supporting the boys it’s not always going to be rosy, I think everyone is trying hard it just isn’t coming together much at the moment
  19. We stopped cold worrying signs
  20. Season over if we lose….we’ll find out tonight how much the boys still want it
  21. Looking at this score line it’s hard not to believe that we are genuinely the worst side in the comp right now….
  22. We’re not gone for the season yet while I agree it looks grim perhaps one good victory could turn it around…Carlton got a soft kill last season against Gold Coast and didn’t look back from there. We still have talent it’s not like the list is suddenly North from 3 years ago level
  23. We’re scared of Collingwood: every time we play them they bash us up and we do not respond
  24. We won plenty of the ball but did sfa with it, stuffing around with dinky kicks, handballs that went nowhere and repeated long bombs to the pocket…the filth went quick and direct when they got it the difference in purpose and confidence was stark….we played like that in 2021 always driving the ball forward but it’s slowly dissipated ever since
