PREGAME: Community Series vs Carlton
Provided we dont get injuries in this game we are looking to go into round 1 in very good shape, Petty prob the only best 22 player unavailable.

POSTGAME: Practice Match vs North Melbourne
Salem training today so you'd assume whatever knock he copped in this match is now OK

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
I actually think he’ll stay anyway, he’s playing with his best mates, having team success, looks like he’s embraced his role and is enjoying his footy to me. I think the only reason he’ll leave is if he get a financial offer he can’t refuse and we couldnt begrudge him that if it’s an insane amount of money.

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
Not a bit player, he’s recognised as a very good player and an integral part of a premiership side, sure he’s a rung down from our superstars in Trac and Clarry but that’s what it takes for team success: isn’t that more important than individual accolades?

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
I agree with this…if Gus’ best position was on ball full time that’s where he’d be playing no matter how many other gun mids we have. His lack of defensive positioning and see ball get ball mentally was a liability from time to time as a full time mid from memory, similar to the problem the Bulldogs had with Libba/MacRae last season. No doubt he can play in the guts when required but to say we are hiding a Brownlow medal winning onballer on the wing like the media seem to be suggesting is a bit of a stretch.

POSTGAME: Practice Match vs North Melbourne
Wonder what the strategy is for the Carlton game I assume we’ll go for the best available “full dress rehearsal” plan?

POSTGAME: Practice Match vs North Melbourne
Haha yeah I don’t have to say that anymore. But it’s not just about kicking long it’s hard to quantify: this team just seems so good at driving the ball forward they are a perpetual motion machine, it overwhelms the opposition you can see them cracking under the strain of it.

Saw Shaun there! Robert Harvey was also wandering around

POSTGAME: Practice Match vs North Melbourne
What strikes me about this team vs all the others in my 45 years supporting is how much purpose they play with to drive the ball forward at all costs. Old Melbourne sides had me screaming how they’d mess around with the footy and inevitably turn it over, not this one. This must be what supporting a good side feels like.

PRACTICE MATCH: vs North Melbourne Streamed LIVE on Kayo
If us as reigning Premiers cant beat North even in a practice match, stand back and watch the fireworks!

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
I can’t see Gus wanting to leave myself, he seems such an ingrained and popular part of our club. I suppose only if he wants a massive payday which we couldn’t begrudge him for…going to be tough to keep everyone we have so many stars now

Harry Petty Out for 4-6 Weeks

2022 Champion Data Rankings
What a joke we had one of the most dominant finals series ever (teams usually have at least one nailbiter in finals we **** it in) with just THREE elite players??

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Still a valuable player when he’s up and going played some good games for GWS….but he’s injured more often than not had a terrible run: on that basis alone our list is better off without trying to rely on him but I’ll always be a fan

Ben King Out for 2022 Season
The Suns seems to get obliterated by injury every season, I can barely remember them putting a full side out on the park ever
