  1. Someone ( anyone) to wipe out Zorko would be pleasant
  2. What could Ashcroft possibly teach Clarrie?
  3. The only problem with this revelation is that the older brigade : Gawn, Viney, Langdon ,Lever, Petracca , Oliver and May are arguably our best and most important, and cannot be usurped by any of the younger brigade.
  4. So if Dangerfield is innocent, shouldn’t Walsh be cited for ‘acting’ ?
  5. I see a very similar comparison physically and attitudinally to another indigenous player who was well loved by all Dees’ supporters, and who ironically also wore #45, Mathew Whelan . i hope Andy’s career is as impressive as Matty’s
  6. Just an aside: there’s a video going around of Max riding a bike with his young child, who’s actually singing the Carlton theme song😳
  7. I’m not sure I follow your logic. On the one hand you say his development SHOULDN’T get set back if he’s beaten , however you then offer the point that he’ll be better by next year if it DOES happen đŸ˜±
  8. The ONLY reason not to play Jefferson this week is because he’ll be demolished by Andrews and set back 6 months in his development
  9. Steven should be rewarded for his quick thinking under pressure
  10. Not to mention the 80 metre penalty ((instead of 50) dished out against Windsor who’d been sucked in by a feigned play on, even though that rule had been removed.
  11. Gawn - played with passion Viney - certainly stepped up Rivers - promising in middle Neal-Bullen - successful tagging game May - owned his opponent Sparrow - just a game Tholstrup - exciting in bursts Langdon - some critical touches McDonald - wasted in defense Chandler - needs a demotion Tomlinson - was generally effective Salem - slow and underwhelming Pickett - exciting when involved Petty - had some moments vanRooyen - was never involved McVee - classy and composed Windsor - some uncharacteristic errors Howes - little to commend Turner - no second efforts Bowey - needs to lift Oliver - distracted and wasteful Fritsch - a lazy liability Brown - game saving tackle
  12. BB actually played very well for Casey last week when put in the ruck
he seemed to be playing less encumbered than he’s been recently. I don’t expect he’ll be attending any centre circle ball ups but I DO think he’s a certainty to come back into the seniors against North
  13. History tells us that pinning our hopes too soon on a forward prodigy is doomed to fail. Jack Watts says hello
  14. I believe Darling was overlooked because of other issues to do with members of the opposite sex
  15. I suspect that ‘banning’ the process of knees into the back will eliminate the whole concept of taking a hanger There’s only a handful of players who have the dexterity to leap above their opponent’s shoulders without including the back for liftoff
  16. Thankfully we’ve got the quality and depth at Casey to replace him
 oh waitđŸ€Šâ€â™‚ïž
  17. I’ve seen the ending
  18. Gawn - performed as expected Rivers - lost his dash Salem - poor under pressure vanRooyen - showed some energy Pickett - didn’t convert chances Windsor - couldn’t get involved Viney - off the pace Oliver - disposals were amateurish Fritsch - poor first half May - great after first Neal-Bullen - a disciplined performance Petracca - there goes season Sparrow - continued poor season Laurie - a schoolboy footballer Bowey - had little influence Turner - a year away Howes - two years away McDonald - impressive under pressure McVee - was rarely noticed Langdon - career worst game Billings - nothing to commend Chandler - was he playing? Petty - offered team nothing
  19. Gawn -overwhelmed and outplayed May - slow and frustrating Petty - embarrassing and inept Rivers - career worst performance Viney - disposals occasionally amateurish Sparrow - provided virtually nothing Chandler - lost all confidence Salem - loose and slow Hunter - useless before injury Fritsch - invisible until last Windsor - tired , seemingly disinterested Petracca - tried without influencing Neal-Bullen - couldn’t get started Tomlinson - seemed to care McAdam - not on field Pickett - played with passion McDonald - little to enthuse Langdon - tried but ineffective Bowey - loose but tried Turner - reserve grade quality McVee - career worst game Woewodin - made little difference Oliver - cared but limited
  20. Gawn - Brownlow votes again Viney - more energy displayed Bowey - resilient and impressive Rivers - great first half Neal-Bullen - played with passion May - loved his energy Salem - back in form Tomlinson - career best game Windsor - had limited involvement Oliver - performance gradually improved Petracca - class when required Pickett - brilliant in bursts McAdam - far from ready Petty -out for Jefferson Chandler - little to enthuse Fritsch - only cameos again Woewodin - a smooth mover vanRooyen - important but limited Sparrow - is looking tired Hunter - disposal was average Langdon - impressive first half McVee - reliable and skillful McDonald - was virtually impassable
  21. Upon retirement, it’ll be Max
  22. 2 month old golden retriever
  23. Maxi
  24. I was of the same mindset in my teenage years and the regret was profound after attempting to take a Russell Robertson type ‘hanger’ , losing balance , then landing on the steel fence, mouth firstđŸ˜± 6 months of dental therapy later, I was fortunately able to retain my bottom front teeth , 3 of which had been indented 45 degrees upon impactđŸ€Šâ€â™‚ïž
