I attended a club event where Rivers presented confidently and eloquently, and gave me great confidence that he was our leader going forward, however his on field form since then has been very spasmodic and hardly inspiring, so I now have great reservations about his promotion to the role. At this stage there’s a great chasm within the club of leadership candidates, with those younger players mentioned here, apart from Bowey, and Kozi ( who certainly doesn’t seem like one who’d clamour for the role) being probably lucky to get regular selections in the team anyway
