  1. Understatement
  2. Many useless performances
  3. Viney - take first options May - important but loose Lever - set no standard Bowey - another nothing game Langdon - gave a damn Rivers - reduced to average Salem - slow decision making Neal-Bullen - had negligible influence Petty - overwhelmed not disgraced vanRooyen - overwhelmed and limited Moniz-Wakefield - out of depth McVee - loose and disappointing McDonald - try him forward Windsor - showed some heart Sparrow - was he playing? Turner - little to commend Fritsch - a nothing game Chandler - needed more involvement Oliver - everything was painstaking Tholstrup - little spatial awareness Pickett - not on field Melksham - no forward pressure Billings - some innocuous touches umpires - on Dockers payroll
  4. Just as a matter of interest, Clarrie is definitely looking ‘chunkier’ than last year… is it muscle or fat?
  5. Viney - dynamic under duress Rivers - outstanding first half May - loved big stage Langdon - great running game Oliver - had some moments McVee - all Australian performance Tholstrup - energetic and confident Neal-Bullen -great tagging game Lever - an important ingredient Pickett - skills were sublime Melksham - experience was vital Windsor - rising star favourite Turner - sublime goal kicking vanRooyen - real time maturity Fritsch - limited but important Salem - not always convincing Moniz-Wakefield - conditions didn’t suit Sparrow - something seems amiss Chandler - had limited involvement Bowey - iffy under pressure McDonald - all Australian possibility Petty - tried but failed Woewodin - had limited opportunity
  6. In addition, his post game interview tells us so much more about the impressive young man. His eloquent answers about the genuine love he feels for the club and his teammates are heartwarming and believable, certainly mirroring the joy he shares openly with them I’d go so far as to say he’s future captain material
  7. Gawn - performed as expected Rivers - continued excellent form Windsor - conditions suited perfunctorily vanRooyen - came of age Salem - an important ingredient Langdon - running game returned McDonald - generally exudes reliability Chandler - found some form Viney - great first half McVee - smooth as silk Tholstrup - energy and promise Neal-Bullen - selfless tagging game Moniz-Wakefield - disposal needs work Fritsch - had more involvement May - reliable and impressive Pickett - exciting first half Sparrow - had some moments Melksham - experience added dimension Lever - was rarely noticed Bowey - didn’t show out Oliver - often a liability Turner - had some moments Woewodin - had negligible impact
  8. I have too much class and integrity to lower myself to such a childish listing but: I HATE Carlton with profound angst because Cripps smiles too much!
  9. It may have been an optical illusion but up close Petty actually looks slim whilst on tv or from the grandstands he looks… overweightish
  10. For the record I’m the hungry customer who left the extra change TWICE. Nice to meet you
  11. I was very impressed with the calibre of the young men who obliged my grandson’s requests for autographs and photos. Caleb Windsor was absolutely gobsmacked that my grandson had his number on the back of his jumper i was also impressed with the bbq sausage team. Btw was it WCW who was accepting the payments for the aforementioned delicacies? Melksham was training unhindered so I’d expect he’d be playing for Casey this weekend.
  12. Umpires from hell
  13. Someone ( anyone) to wipe out Zorko would be pleasant
  14. What could Ashcroft possibly teach Clarrie?
  15. The only problem with this revelation is that the older brigade : Gawn, Viney, Langdon ,Lever, Petracca , Oliver and May are arguably our best and most important, and cannot be usurped by any of the younger brigade.
  16. So if Dangerfield is innocent, shouldn’t Walsh be cited for ‘acting’ ?
  17. I see a very similar comparison physically and attitudinally to another indigenous player who was well loved by all Dees’ supporters, and who ironically also wore #45, Mathew Whelan . i hope Andy’s career is as impressive as Matty’s
  18. Just an aside: there’s a video going around of Max riding a bike with his young child, who’s actually singing the Carlton theme song😳
  19. I’m not sure I follow your logic. On the one hand you say his development SHOULDN’T get set back if he’s beaten , however you then offer the point that he’ll be better by next year if it DOES happen 😱
  20. The ONLY reason not to play Jefferson this week is because he’ll be demolished by Andrews and set back 6 months in his development
  21. Steven should be rewarded for his quick thinking under pressure
  22. Not to mention the 80 metre penalty ((instead of 50) dished out against Windsor who’d been sucked in by a feigned play on, even though that rule had been removed.
  23. Gawn - played with passion Viney - certainly stepped up Rivers - promising in middle Neal-Bullen - successful tagging game May - owned his opponent Sparrow - just a game Tholstrup - exciting in bursts Langdon - some critical touches McDonald - wasted in defense Chandler - needs a demotion Tomlinson - was generally effective Salem - slow and underwhelming Pickett - exciting when involved Petty - had some moments vanRooyen - was never involved McVee - classy and composed Windsor - some uncharacteristic errors Howes - little to commend Turner - no second efforts Bowey - needs to lift Oliver - distracted and wasteful Fritsch - a lazy liability Brown - game saving tackle
