  1. Gawn - excellent from centre Viney - bullocking of old Petracca - great after first Fritsch - four quarter effort Melksham - smart and important Lever - a slow liability McVee - little to enthuse Pickett - always looked dangerous McDonald - never drop again Salem - regularly intercepted well Tholstrup - one important disposal Swallow - an indecipherable role Rivers - just a game Langford - impressive four quarters Turner - strong after first Oliver - a solid game van Rooyen - good in bursts Jefferson - finally showed promise Chandler - some clever touches Langdon - valuable running game Bowey - not as noticeable Lindsay - obviously has tired Windsor - had no Input
  2. A significant problem with the assistant coaching roles this year was that apparently we weren’t inundated with options preseason
  3. Just announced : the AFL has officially ruled the goal that was paid to Adelaide despite McVee’s efforts, WAS actually touched before crossing the line🤦‍♂️
  4. There was DEFINITELY no evidence of him EVER ‘dominating’ at Casey
  5. Pickett - only classy player Langdon - too many turnovers Viney - take first options May - fought the fight Rivers - a better performance Salem - had little influence Turner - a solid game Lever - loose and slow Petracca - has signed off Oliver - disposals were amateurish Langford - still finding place Chandler - another uninfluential performance vanRooyen - better but limited Bowey - provided customary drive Melksham - clever and important McVee - another loose game Lindsay - reliable and clever Sparrow - had no purpose Jefferson - bereft of pressure Fritsch - devoid of interest Tholstrup - another underwhelming performance Sharp - had no affect
  6. Exactly🤦‍♂️
  7. Well if I were paid more to produce this thread each week then perhaps I’d present more positive reviews.
  8. Ridiculous comment. We all know, but you, we were lucky not to lose by 15 goals. Present your 3 word analysis to show me where I misjudged
  9. 6 - Melksham 2 - Pickett 1 - Gawn
  10. Melksham - our only winner Petracca - disposal was amateurish Gawn - had negligible influence Viney - tried but limited Pickett - great last quarter Bowey - tried but overwhelmed Rivers - loose and disinterested Turner - strong first half Langford - needed longer break Oliver - just a shadow Chandler - irrelevant and uninvolved Fritsch - seemingly without heart Sparrow - another nothing game McVee - little influence again Petty - was actually missed Langdon - not a tagger Tholstrup - a year away May - career is fading Sharp - little to offer Salem - regularly slowed momentum Jefferson - two years away Howes - unsighted before injury Lindsay - shown no growth
  11. And you can remain delusional. Furthermore, I prefaced my response by alluding to this year’s performances, so if your list was valid then why are we having a [censored] year?
  12. On this year’s evidence I’d agree only on Lindsay, Langford, Turner and Bowey. Hardly cause for celebration
  13. Please advise who is the ‘promising young talent’ you speak of at Melbourne
  14. Gawn - competition’s worst kick Viney - no senior leadership Pickett - disappeared second half Howes - beat his opponent Petracca - rarely looked interested Oliver - devoid of relevance Bowey - maintained the rage Langdon - lost all drive Turner - impressed in patches Salem - overstayed his welcome May - was surprisingly humiliated Lever - time to go van Rooyen - no trade value Langford - needs a break Chandler - failed to perform Sparrow - was irrelevant again McVee - loose and fumbly Windsor - lost all potency Rivers - little to commend Petty -unfit and incompetent Melksham - still on plane Lindsay - limited game time
  15. Oliver has become a liability and Trac doesn’t seem interested
  16. The free kick differential was not mentioned once on Foxtel coverage
  17. Gawn - great despite errors Oliver - prolific but wasteful Petracca - dynamism wasn’t enough Rivers - has lost momentum Bowey - another excellent display Fritsch - had more involvement May - outstanding all game Sparrow - a bland performance Salem - what’s his role? Pickett - the real wizard Turner - safe and reliable Langford - needs a break Chandler - some minor involvement Tholstrup - lacked spatial awareness Melksham - tried against odds Petty - little to enthuse Lever - steady under pressure Van Rooyen - continued doing nothing McVee - unobtrusive but effective Howes - held important opponent Lindsay - needs a rest Windsor - limited game time Langdon - unlikely effective tagger
  18. May - better after first Gawn - no votes today Chandler. - strong running game Rivers - often an observer Petracca - important but limited Fritsch - seemingly without passion Salem - just a plodder Oliver - couldn’t handle tag Lindsay - needed more involvement Johnson - replace with Roo Pickett - unfortunately well held Melksham - little drive today Turner - a solid game McVee - not his best Langford - looking very tired Windsor - poor under pressure Langdon - untypically quiet game Sharp - Viney obviously replaces Sparrow - little involvement again Bowey - little defensive drive Petty - limited contesting effect Lever - liability in defense Laurie - made no difference
  19. Pickett - genius at work Gawn - great without dominating Salem - cool under pressure Oliver - getting more involved Langdon - great team ethos Petracca - exciting when needed Rivers - great tagging game Lindsay - beautifully smooth mover Chandler - had little involvement Fritsch- just some cameos McVee - reliable and steady Bowey - becoming a weapon Turner - impressive first half Langford - everything with ease May - little to do Lever - needed the run Melksham - no heroics necessary Petty - generally competed well Spargo - little impact again Sharp - took his chances Sparrow - played his role Johnson - an almost game
  20. Slightly off topic but relevant for those who’ve been harangued or abused by opposition supporters: Some years ago we were playing the Magpies and as inevitability has it, I was surrounded by evil opposition supporters. I’m pretty sure we were being trounced so when I made a negative comment aloud about a Collingwood player all hell broke loose. A Collingwood player , Lockyer, was awarded a free kick and without hesitation I called out, ‘ get a real name Tarquin ‘(his actual first name ) I thought it was a pretty harmless request, but fists were raised in my direction not to mention the profound umbrage and verbal aggression that spewed forth . At a quiet moment I let myself out😱
  21. You forgot: 3 votes / Carlton C… Judd
  22. I actually DID add it but it’s appeared on a repeat thread: Some important involvement
  23. Gawn - beast at play Pickett - please never leave Langdon - great second half Salem - rarely wasted disposals Melksham - genius at work Rivers - impressive all game Petracca - dominant second half Oliver - amazing tagging game Bowey - maintained impeccable form Lindsay - mature beyond years McDonald - another outstanding performance Langford - great second half Sparrow - great tagging performance May - reminiscent of yesteryear McVee - efficient and effective Petty - competed with courage Spargo - didn’t effect result Fritsch - found his position Windsor - surprisingly poor disposal Sharp - didn’t take chances Johnson - justified soccer training Turner - some valuable involvement
