  1. The list just goes on, doesn't it! Though I think AFLW is still a few seasons short of justifying the word 'ever' 😏
  2. M.Gawn says thanks for the metaphor, SPC [insert 'Winx' emoji: 😉]
  3. Needs one of DL's photoshoppers for your campaign, BD. And, with that 'development', perhaps in one of the women's DC Comic long-sleevers? (Fun aside, I guess he could be a Pedersen-level contributor? Better than a nothing option if that's where the choice ends up. Injury susceptibility, though?)
  4. What I'm feeling, and it's very evident so many others are feeling, is that this team and its football are just a pleasure to watch (the winning's nice, too, of course!) And, for me, this is particularly for its being a week-by-week experience. I'm hoping I can keep this feeling uppermost and suppress 'eye on the prize', where personal disappointment lies (don't we know it!) It's already creeping in with that goalless last quarter thingy (I'm with you, @darkhorse72!)
  5. Thank you, Ireland, for not only Sinead, Blaithin and Aimee (and Jim and, round about, Sean) but also for that particular humour you brought to Australia, new and ancient.
  6. Loved the E = mc2 banner. Clever!
  7. Minor point: forgot the ♾️% for the last 3 weeks.
  8. Worth the wait, Viper! Fly the flag over there, you and especially the girls!
  9. Special mention to, as the club website report refers to them, 'the strong travelling group of Demons fans'. Well done, all of you. And a fun watch of the replay awaits you - you were well covered!
  10. They kept on script tonight then, eh! https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-09-28/how-melbourne-built-the-most-damaging-attack-in-aflw-history/102907982
  11. I thought the Hawks got fumbly last week because they're at that standard. But tonight I realised it happens because that's what this Melbourne team makes the opposition. Real pressure becomes implied pressure, and, the real pressure still continues, unabated.
  12. ...or the 9 games before that!
  13. LOTS of shots of the Melbourne supporters and DA particularly, @WalkingCivilWar! Commentary to go with it. Making up for last week!
  14. We got the rub of the (lime) green that quarter. And don't they let the 'scrums' go on for an eternity! First quarter GFC has lost. And conceded a goal, I think. Hope we retain our last quarter dominance, in contrast!
  15. Betting $1.14 to $5.50! Crikey! Really? (not that I should be letting this tawdry aspect of modern sport into my appreciation of the still relatively pure experience of women's football and our glorious team in it...)
  16. Had to look him up. Nice Catoggioid hair! However, I had the drying phase in mind. Warm day, but I reckon there'd still be 4 quarters plus presentations worth.
  17. Anyone painting? Good viewing (relatively) there, too.
  18. I'm gonna guess Carlton for the Member for Bendigo East!
  19. Cos I like washing my mouth out 😄 Part of the same character trait that kept me being a Dees supporter for those 57 years!
  20. If the '$350k' contract is between Collingwood and Grundy, and Grundy wants to get out of MFC and/or into SSFC enough, isnt he at liberty to propose and enter into a renegotiation of that contract?
  21. It is: https://www.lions.com.au/news/1441344/cup-article Another thing I won't see, then... COS I WON'T BE WATCHING!
  22. Source? Last report (formal? last week?) was he was 'a required player'.
